It’s true, the staff couldn’t have done more. We had several requests during our stay (daily shuttles, room service, taxi bookings, a fan change in the room), and they delivered on every one, going above and beyond each time. We stayed in Room 45, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. We spent most evenings enjoying it with a cup of tea, a perfect way to unwind. The location is slightly further out of town, but we knew that when we booked and actually loved the walk. If you’re driving, it’s no issue at all. During the main hours of the day, we could call the hotel and they would pick us up from the town centre, which was amazing. Breakfast was also lovely, with coffees and eggs made to order, alongside a huge buffet selection. The room was cleaned twice a day, with chocolates left in the evening. Another thoughtful touch. We also loved the spa after a day of hiking. It never felt too busy or loud, and the adults-only hours (6 to 8 pm) were a nice bonus. The cherry on top came on our last day. We were at risk of missing our bus to Venice, and the receptionist personally drove us in his own car to make sure we didn’t miss it. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cortina.

The only reason we gave this a 9 instead of a 10 was because the room was far too hot, clearly designed more for winter stays. The hotel does provide a fan, but it wasn’t enough during a particularly hot week. We had some uncomfortable nights' sleep because of it.

Outstanding experience in the rooms of the new building—modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help or listen. Breakfast offers a generous selection, and the hotel restaurant serves very good food. The spa area is another highlight—perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Highly recommended.

Super friendly and helpful staff who make me feel like home. Awesome spa facilities with nice chill out area, ice cold fruit infused water, fairly long opening hours. Very good breakfast with a variety of warm, cold options, fruits and baked goods. Dinner at restaurant is great too.

Unfortunately there was some construction work going on for the house in the piece of land right next to the hotel. Several vans were parked on the pedestrian path so I had to be very careful while walking about 10 meters on the road, which was quite busy as it was Lavaredo ultra trail race week.

Had an amazing honeymoon stay at Lajadira! We were welcomed extremely warmly and the service from the staff was 10/10 from there on through the entire stay. The spa is perfect and well equipped. The room was great and had a beautiful balcony with awesome view of the mountains. Everything was super clean. The hotel restaurant was really really good, and we enjoyed two great dinners there, with amazing service from the restaurant staff. Breakfast really good as well! Thank you for a great time in Cortina!!

There was a restaurant on site that served up delicious designer food, and the buffet was loaded with fruits and all sorts of European cheeses and meats, and the staff could not have been more lovely. Everyone was kind and accommodating, and didn’t care that we only spoke English and not Italian. It seems like everyone spoke enough English. We were close enough to town that we walked to the main shopping and other restaurants and we hiked the dolomites. We biked we shopped. It was a lovely stay and a perfect location.

We didn’t give ourselves enough time for massages.

Breakfast was great, spa was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking was convenient and we enjoyed our stay overall. Easily the best spa we had during our 2 week trip.

We stayed in summer and it was very hot one night. As there was no air con it was quite uncomfortable for one night however we knew there was no air con and this was just bad luck. There was building work next door but that isn’t the hotels fault however we couldn’t really sit on the balcony because of dust from the construction. Fortunately the spa was so good we just went there instead.

The staff were super friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed the bar and dining facilities. They had a good choice of red wine and the evening menu in the dining room was superb. Breakfast was always fun with Ciro and Fredirica. My favourite part of the hotel was the spa. So very relaxing after a day skiing. We had a couple of spa treatments and can highly recommend Sara and Anna. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if in Cortina again.

The room was very pleasant, it was big and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. We will definitely come back.

The spa staff is limited but the facility is amazing.

The hotel is located on a major road so when you open the windows or sit on the balcony there is constant road noise. I noticed that many hotels in the area have balconies that face onto the road so this is likely to be a common issue. The hotel is a bit out of town but it is walkable. Taking your car into town is hard work as it's quite difficult to get parking near the centre. The bed was very hard.

The sauna was exceptional and we really liked the turkish steam room, hot sauna, ice bucket showers and pool. The staff was super friendly, responsive and professional. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet with the delicious local meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, and delicious baked goods. The hotel shuttle into town and to the ski lifts were a huge bonus for our group as well. We also appreciated the free parking, ski locker room and amazing views from our balcony.

Wish the beds weren't as hard but that's just me.
