Location of the hotel right at the beginning of the pedestrian street with nice stores and elegant people around

I’m from Crans-Montana where the slopes are reachable easily by foot, free buses are cruising all around and yet all hotels (even 3 stars) provide a free shuttle for their clients. I was surprised to find out that our 5 stars hotel in Cortina charge 40 euros per trip to drive us to the slopes (10min). We were just my wife and I, and 80 euros round trip per day just for transportation for skiing seemed ridiculous. Luckily we had our own car but it would have been nice not to worry about this matter

For skiers there was no info upon arrival in regards to getting to the slopes. We asked other guests who informed us the bus stop was across the road and which bus to take. Hotel has no shuttle, however they will organise a taxi for 15€ per person to the slopes. Free shuttle should be included. Also no info on best ski hire place. They should have some agreement with a local company and offer a discount for their guests(ie. if they refer a guest the guest gets 10% off hire- pretty standard everywhere else. Half mountain shut for preparation for women’s downhill weeks before event starts.

Well appointed rooms, comfortable beds. Lovely view from our room. Very quiet. Fantastic maid service, fantastic concierge so helpful. The breakfast is wonderful. The ski room works great. The spa is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

We found it was cumbersome and expensive to get to the main ski slope (Tofana). There is no shuttle and the public bus is unreliable (we waited 40 minutes one day) and extremely full when it does come. We ended up paying hundreds of Euros in transfers that the hotel called for us. To get a transfer you have to go to the concierge desk, you can't call it from the ski room.

The fact that a 5 star hotel with those high rates doesn’t have AC in the rooms is very disappointing and unacceptable , at least they should mention it before confirming our bookings. Not having air conditioning in the rooms affected our quality of sleep, mood and the overall experience. The temperature was above 30 celsius outside, and the rooms had no air whatsoever, opening the windows is possible but the area has a lot of mosquitos and the windows are without screens, so good luck sleeping.

The staff was just so incredibly friendly and helpful. From the maitre d' at the restaurant to the concierge to the chamber maids to the reception at spa. Appreciate them all so much. They went above and beyond to help us with every problem we had and make our stay perfect. We loved that every day bottles of water were placed in our room. We loved the amazing spa that we could use at no extra charge. The breakfast buffet was incredible. And the staff just made us feel like we were appreciated, like we were family.

The one thing the hotel needs to fix is getting skiers to the slopes. We paid 40 Euros for every shuttle we took to Socrepes base lift. That was multiple times a day with various people coming and going at different times or needing to return to get equipment adjusted, etc.

Hands down the staff made our trip fabulous. They are so kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Close to the center of town (less than a 5 minute walk), you can get anywhere from this centrally located spot. Lucca and the front of the house reception, go above and beyond to make our stay a 10! If you go do not miss out on meeting Mario and his crew in the 1224 lounge bar! They will make you feel right at home. Hands down a top class staff.

The breakfast, although very pricey, was amazing, even for vegetarians and vegans(me)! The quality and choice of the fruit was superb! There was a variety of breads,seeds, nuts and granola, fresh raw and cooked veges, olives, capers, pickled onions , freshly pressed juices etc and the waiter (Victor) so kindly brought me soya yogurt from the kitchen, I received sliced avocado on request, earl grey tea with almond milk and a slice of vegan torte with pomegranate jam filling … no request was too much for them. My kids went crazy over the pancakes with Nutella . Definitely the best breakfast we had in all our 1 month trip in Italy! ( and I haven’t even mentioned all the vegetarian and nonvevegetarian options) And the dining room is beautiful, with a magnificent view of the mountains ! Just include breakfast while booking, (then you won’t think how much it’s costing you) and enjoy! The bedrooms are magnificent and the bed the most comfortable ever, with satin sheets. You feel like royalty ! Just, at present, still no A/C, so can be very warm and if you sleep with the door /window open be prepared for the ( white) noise of the river which runs by the back of the hotel ( or cars on the street side in front). The spa is one of the best we’ve been to with 4 different saunas, a huge jacuzzi and warm indoor pool. ( we didn’t do any massages - quite pricey)

The property has good amenities. It has a well-appointed ski room, very nice spa and good ski services. The room service menu was excellent and delicious, as was the breakfast. The staff was helpful.

The property was overheated and the climate control in the room didn’t work well. Also, the gym had very good equipment for men but not so much for women. Suggest they invest in some light weights and extra mats. Also the bathrooms need an upgrade (but they are clean and well-appointed).

The properly was excellently presented and the staff were exceptional. We were celebrating a birthday and they pulled out all the stops to make them feel brilliant. They remembered from the morning and presented a strudel and candle at night when we were enjoying a few drinks. I couldn’t fault a single thing about the stay from the facilities to the staff. Will definitely recommend and stay again

The location was perfect, access to town and biking paths. Valet parking was available for 30.00 per day and they had the car at the ready with a call. Diana the concierge was most helpful and kind. She was very knowledgeable about the hiking opportunities and helped with daily hiking itineraries and restaurant reservations. The entire staff, in fact, was most kind and went out of their way to be helpful.
