The hotel is ideally situated within 10 minutes walk from the main bus station, 12 minutes or so walk to Conad (a great supermarket) and just mere minutes from the main town where there are some great restaurants and shops. It's just a beautiful area and I would definitely go there again. I mostly spoke to Francesco and Martina (I hope I've spelled your name correctly?!) who are the brother and sister of Sergio and Laura (their parents and owners who I only met briefly). Francesco was there on the day I arrived and he and Martina couldn't have been more polite, friendly and helpful. I only briefly spoke to their parents near the end of my stay, but they are all really friendly and polite. I'd booked a single bedroom and honestly, I have no complaints at all. For a '2 star' hotel? I've stayed in higher star places and not had as nice a room or slept as well! I read in one of the reviews that someone complained that the bed was "too hard"? That single bed was the comfiest one I've ever slept on! I have a double bed here at home as I'm 6'2" for one thing, so I usually prefer a double bed. But I wanted to save a bit on the price and I'm glad I did. The bathroom was IMMACULATE with a fantastic shower that I wanted to take home with me! Actually, I'd love to swap my tiny bathroom here for that one ;-) I only had breakfast a few times there and it was 10 euros a day (if required). It's very basic continental breakfast, which I don't usually have here being a Brit, but I ate out a lot anyway so that was fine. Noise-wise, it was a little bit noisy sometimes with the motorbikes (they love those over there!) and odd car, but that's to be expected, considering how popular (and rightfully so now I've been there) Cortina D'Ampezzo is.
A little bit more selection/choice on the breakfast option

Central location with free parking. Less than 5min walk to the Main Street for restaurants, shops and grocery store. Family room was spacious and clean. Appreciated the little table to eat at in the room and the outdoor balcony space. View of the mountains from the window. All of the staff was very nice and gave us local recommendations. Quiet at night for sleeping.
There is construction happening all around Cortina due to the 2026 Winter Olympics. View from the balcony was now mostly of construction but it wasn’t as loud as we thought it would be since we left pretty early in the morning and by the afternoon it was already either done or winding down.

Extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable night's sleep! Breakfast was continental style with a good variety of mini pastries, cheese, meats, bread, cereal, etc. Easy access to town centre and hiking trails.
The single bedroom is pretty small and the bed itself seems like a narrow single. Be aware of major construction works going on in the town as it prepares for the Olympics. A lot of hotels will be affected (not just this one) so be kind to the staff as the noise is not their fault and beyond their control!!

The hotel was in a great location - close to multiple restaurants and was a 1 hour drive to Lago de Braies. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was simple but clean, she sheets smelled especially clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast, it was small and simple but so good and included: boiled eggs, assorted yogurt, granola, charcuterie board with different cheeses + meats, and baked pastries/breads. The juice was also freshly squeezed and so delicious. They also made everyone a fresh cup of coffee to those who came in for breakfast. There is a small parking space at the back of the hotel for those who are driving. It may be difficult to get in and out but you just have to be careful. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel!
Small parking lot in the back; could be difficult to get in and out at times.

The location and accommodation was perfect. Appreciated the easy free parking.
I really liked this property. It would have been nice to have coffee available at the room in the morning. It was a far walk to find coffee in the morning, especially in the fall season when many coffee places were closed.

Small hotel located near center of Cortina d'Ampezzo about a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Rated high due to cleanliness of the room, Giovanni (manager) and Rosana who are incredibly helpful and nice, and because we felt that it was a good value for Cortina. Room 6 is a nice size, both the bedroom and bathroom, with a comfortable bed. Free on-site parking for 7 cars is available. Rosana kept our room immaculately clean during our stay.
The furniture and bathroom are a bit dated but we enjoyed our stay and would return. The parking can be tight for American drivers.

The cleaning lady is an absolute treasure, her advice about public transport helped me save about €100! She’s such a lovely, caring person and she did an excellent job with the hotel, it was spotless! Really great location, the rest of the staff was super friendly and I enjoyed the decor, very authentic. Superb view of the mountains from the little front garden, I got to watch the sun set behind Cima Tofana.
Loved the fresh strawberries and tomatoes for breakfast, there was also other fruit but I wish there was more fresh vegetables and also a variety of meats. It was still a very good breakfast!

Laura and Sergio were fabulous hosts. As a solo traveler, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The ski bus stop is about a 5 min walk and there is a cable car near that stop that goes up to a whole section of the resort. The main bus into town leaves from about 10 -15 mins walk away. The guest house and rooms are clean and comfortable. European breakfast is available. I would love to return.

Starting off with the staff, the owners were exceptionally polite, incredibly helpful with everything, and very accommodating! The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic, with local produce, and a very cute breakfast area! The rooms were very clean and cosy. The location of the hotel is perfect in the centre of Cortina, very accessible, with easy parking, just perfect!
Nothing, honestly it was just right!
