It was across from the beach

It was very old and not real close to restaurants, very overpriced for how basic and old it was

The hotel was very nice and it was close to alot of things. Water taxi and the beach was beautiful and plenty of places you could walk to eat. It was a very nice place to stay the day before our cruise. Would definitely come back if we take another cruise out of ft lauderdale. Also the lobster rolls next door were the best I ever tasted. so if you stay give them a try too.

The only thing I could complain about is I am disabled and can't do stairs and use a walker. So I vouldnt use the walk way over the street and to get to pool you have to walk to a completely different building and use that elevator to go up to enjoy pool. It was still a very nice place and I was able to still enjoy the pool just had to explore to find out how to get up to the pool. The staff was very nice and explained how to get to pool.

As a family traveling for a cruise I have to say how much I appreciate how accommodating your hotel is. We arrived early so your concierge took our luggage, let our kids swim. We ordered food and drinks and it was so nice. We checked out and still had time before our flight and your staff did the same. Let us swim and let our kids relax before our flight. We have stayed in your hotel twice now and I will recommend you over and over. We stayed in another hotel before our cruise and they were so NOT accommodating so even on the cruise Facebook groups I have suggested your hotel because I truly appreciate the excellent customer service.

The price has gone up a bit since our last time

The hotel has a great pool and a private pedestrian bridge to the beach. We were given two comp drinks upon arrival, as well as endless cookies. There is also a 1 hour comp bike rental to cruise the strip. The strip itself has endless car watching. We enjoyed grabbing breakfast at the bodega and eating on the beach.

I wish there were more towels in the room. We stayed in a room that wasn't in the main building, so requesting extra towels meant some legwork.

It was clean and nice, we enjoyed it.

They ask for a deposit of 125, where you get extra charges for somethings that you don’t even know about.. so that deposit won’t get back to you. Plus be careful when you get out the parking they charge my husband both times he went to look for food for the kids first time 10 and the next time 5, we were already paying for parking so we paid 65 for 1 night parking.

The view from our room was amazing!

Balcony was tiny, no room to sit. Vending machine for snacks stole my $$, snack stuck in machine. Front desk did not answer when I called to fix the problem. Also, beach towels not available after 5 pm. We had just got there at 4, asked where we get beach towels, went to get them and were too late

After a debacle at another hotel, upon my arrival, I found the Bahia Mar. Right from the beginning, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. Because I had just booked the room on the booking app, my reservation wasn't showing in their system. The young lady at the desk took her time and found it, and it was nothing but good times from that point on. They made every penny spent worth it. Easy access to the beach, the pool area was always clean and even the staff there were very nice. I always saw someone cleaning the areas of the hotel and being accommodating. The restaurant staff took very good care of me as well. I was just overall pleased with this hotel.

Fire pit was only on one night Lobby lounge didn’t have a fireplace or much seating together for mingling and chatting It was sectioned off here and there Having to pay for the beach umbrella other hotels don’t charge for that

Location, cleanliness, friendly staff

The breakfast available was a disappointment. We were told the option out of three we wanted was not available leaving us with a continental or buffet choice which was overpriced and full of carbs. Also, our waiter was not prompt leaving everything to the other waitress to take care of. When the tip is already included there is no incentive to please.

The location is hard to beat for the price. Anything you need is in easy walking distance Go Panthers!

The elevators are pretty slow, we waited 15+ minutes for one a couple different times- but the hotel was at FULL capacity for our trip, so that could be a factor.
