After 18 days on a road trip we were ready to chill a bit. We got a great rate so we felt comfortable spending money gambling and on food and drinks. The souvenir shop would have been a good option for gifts if we hadnt already stocked up along the way. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Had a fridge with a seperate freezer (to re-freeze our cooler ice packs for the rest of the trip), microwave, and a safe. All three restaurants we ate at (Silver Legacy, Brew Brothers, and Eldorado Coffee) were excellent. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. The pool was very nice (large, heated and clean) and the workout room was great with mulitples of each piece of equipment all in good shape and operational. The best thing was we stayed for 2 nights and 2-1/2 days and didnt have to go anywhere. Parking was plentifuly and free. Even though there were a few people smoking in the Casino the air exchange system worked so good that the air was clean and smelled nice. I did want some specialty alcohol and there was a liquor store literally across Virgina St. We did some gambling and overall had a lot of fun and relaxation.

The price for a beer at the Silver Legacy was high (about $10 for what looked like a 12 oz Coors Light), but the price for beer at Brew Brothers was great especially during happy hour 2pm to 5pm

Convenient location, within walking distance to the Reno Aces ballpark.

Check-in process was mostly easy, I'd booked (via booking.com) a room with a King bed, however when I got to my room, it had 2 queen beds, so I tried calling the front desk to make sure I wasn't given an incorrect room (using the phone in the room) and no one would answer... So I returned to the check-in desk & confirmed there wasn't an error with the room. Not the best feeling, knowing there's no operator answering the phone in the hotel lobby, but otherwise an overall good experience staying at the Eldorado 👍

The size of the petite queen room was just fine, and it was also at the end of the hall which made for a more quiet stay. Everything was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I've ever slept in. I also enjoyed the small cafe near the lobby every morning I was there. I got a great deal that included those nasty resort fees upfront in the actual price of the room. I prefer that over having to calculate them into the cost only to realize the deal isn't so great.

Well, I do like to watch a decent movie before bed and there weren't any commercial-free movie channels included in the lineup. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax... at least one would be nice.

We booked the smallest room but it was still plenty big. Fast check in. Wonderful location, easy access to everything. Great water pressure in the shower, comfy bed, easy to access elevators. Friendly staff. Clean pool, plenty of pool towels available. Housekeeping was prompt.

The pool bar never opened, and we were there on a Saturday. The website mentioned the bar at the pool, and also mentioned a hot tub, but it was drained and covered up and not operable. Keurig coffee maker in room 525 had some issues, as did the hair dryer.

It was relatively inexpensive for the type of lodging we needed. Although we weren’t there to gamble or be in a casino, it was clean property and felt safe. Room was quiet. Appreciated the two bottles of water. If you want a casino to sleep and play in, this would fit the bill.

Didn’t like the location and parking. The bathroom door rubbed the toilet when opening or closing, that’s how small the bathroom (shower & toilet area) is. We stayed in rm 1020, part of the older suites area, according to reception person. We needed a sleeper sofa for our third person to sleep on. It filled the need but do not sit at the end of it, as your bottom goes through it. I don’t plan to ever be there again.

Location to our planned activities. We liked our corner room, less noise. The walls and windows were insulated well.

Shower controls did not function correctly. The mini fridge was difficult to get into. The bed blocked access to fully open doors for both cabinet and fridge. The AC fan was loud during sleeptime. Carpet had a rip and ceiling looked like it experienced a leak. Please pass comments to hotel.

Nice. Convenient

The main issue was the elevators. In arriving one elevator nor working. Secondly, on departure only one elevator either out of four. We were on the 8th floor and vended up taking the stairs with our luggage. A family of four told us they had waiting over 15 minutes. So we opted to take stairs. Unacceptable since it was a hot august night. Minor. Empty Kleenex box on entering room.

We had a big beautiful spa tower king suite with white bath robes and slippers and a soaking tub. We were upgraded because it was our anniversary. It had a nice bar area and a very comfortable bed! 👍👍 We had a corner suite with a bank of windows on each side with a view of the well-known Reno Sign and mountains. The staff was great!

The only thing we were unhappy with was the restaurants weren't all open at the same time. Maybe it's because we were there mid week?

The hotel is very nice. I was concerned because I paid for a upgrade and when they upgraded me they changed my room to a smoking from the non smoking that I had made. When I called they would not change it back and they informed booking.com that they would cg a 80 dollar fee to change. So I kept it with the smoking. However when I cked in the wonderful lady at the desk gave me a non smoking room for no extra charge. She also honored my request and got me a room by an elevator and less walking distance with my bad knee. Everything was great after that. I have stayed here in the past and I will stay here again.
