I LOVE this hotel and the location. The only complaint is the shower. There is absolutely no way to not have a wet floor. But the hotel is great. Clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. It's going to be my go to.

I do not understand why hotels have like a half open shower door. The bathroom floor was perpetually wet and it was so annoying. The in room fridge was also meh but serviceable for my occasional soda. It was really small and not cold enough. It's not a deal breaker though.

Wonderful location. Just 2 subway stops away from manhattan and also on a direct line leading to the airport train. Subway station about 3 mins away and overall the location felt extremely safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was really clean and sufficient . You can kind of hear the subway if you’re a light sleeper which can be annoying to some but it’s not too bad.

Not much to complain about really. Just the flush in the toilet was always flowing so the sound was constant and a bit annoying. But really everything else considered this was a very comfortable stay.

close to manhattan, deli, restaurants, non stop nearby. staff very friendly. self-service laundry little extra-charge. coffee and tea machine in the room. metro stations at 3 min away. definitely will come back!

Nice, new, clean hotel in a good, safe location, right at the metro station and with grocery stores in the same block and also nearby. The staff is very helpful and attentive, especially Lucy, who is an excellent manager. No waiting at the elevators as opposed to most other hotels in NY. A very positive experience, will definitely stay here again.

Yes, the trains can be noisy especially if you rent a quadruple room facing the tracks like we did, but luckily the sound insulation of the windows is very good, so only a minimal amount of noise can be heard with closed windows during the night. King rooms face Manhattan, I assume there is less train noise there. The air conditioning is a bit loud too, but it can be turned off at the control panel in the room.

The location is great, right near two subway stations with a lot of connections. Nice neighborhood with bars and restaurants in the area. The room was clean and spacious, everything working as expected. They cleaned it everyday and provided everything we needed. They also have a laundry room with great prices.

We had to pay an extra deposit when we arrived, even though it wasn't mentioned anywhere. We are waiting for the money to come back in our account. They do not have signs with DND to put on the door. In two mornings the room service woke us up to see if we are still there or they can clean. It was not pleasant.

The location is excellent as you can go everywhere by subway. Manhattan is one stop away and you can reach all main tourist sites easily. It is easy to reach from the airport and there are elevators on the entire journey. The area is safe. I travelled alone and felt safe coming back late in the eveing. Hotel rooms are very clean and the staff is wonderful.

There is a 250$ deposit when you arrive which you ge tback in 5-10 working days after check out. I mention it just for those travelling on a budget. Breakfast is not included but there are many supermarkets around where you can find health options for all types of diet.

Location was excellent, 2 subway stations very close by covering about 4 or 5 lines, with approx. 15min journey to midtown Manhattan. Right beside the E train also which connects to JFK AirTrain so a simple journey if coming from the airport. The bed was huge and really comfortable with a big TV in the room as well as a mini fridge, and the bathroom and shower were great and room service were in every day to replenish towels etc. The coffee machine was good and nice to have in the mornings. There was a decent looking gym which I didn't get a chance to use but looked well stocked and never busy. I cannot comment on the breakfast/restaurant and bar as we didn't use this facility but it seemed to be pretty empty any time we passed. Staff were cordial and helpful on the rare occasion we required any assistance. While the hotel wasn't "cheap" by any means, the value/quality versus what's available in Manhattan is excellent while still being in a very convenient location

While housekeeping did come in daily and give new towels, we had different pods for the coffee machine like tea and decaf coffee and we were never guaranteed to always have 2 normal coffees for the next morning, felt like they could have been a bit more generous or consistent with the pods. We had requested a Manhattan view on booking but this wasn't available and while we got a higher floor (9th), there was no view from our window, so don't expect this despite the description. Be aware also, there's an extra approx. $160 deposit hold on your card when you are checking in which is returned on check out (received mine back a couple of days later into my account), just be aware if budget is tight

Perfect location! The subway is 200 m away and in 2–3 stops you are in Manhattan! There is a 24H supermarket next door, if you need something (Coffee, freshly baked stuff...cold drink....) A few minutes walk alongside Jackson Ave. (and off the road, too) you'll find amazing patisseries, restaurants, grocery shops.... The room was great, the staff are friendly.

The only downside was the noise at night. The trains are running constantly, and they were super laud, but take an earplug and you'll be fine.

The room was nice, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. There were two nearby subway stations, providing great access to Manhattan and Brooklyn. There was also a small place next door that serves food 24/7.

The A/C remote was very unclear, and we had to ask five staff members before we got an answer on how to turn it off. On our last full day, room service missed our room, so we asked the front desk for toilet paper supplies. Despite being promised that it would be handled, we didn’t receive any.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, just minutes away from public transport, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The staff were exceptional—accommodating and friendly throughout my stay. I had purchased some food that needed refrigeration, and they kindly stored it for me for two days. They also handled my luggage with the utmost care. The beds were the best I’ve experienced in NYC within this price category—firm and comfortable. Additionally, the amenities were super clean.

The only problem i had was the shower. It has a rubber lip to prevent spillage, which does not work well at all. The water kept spilling all over the bathroom floor and leaked into the room.
