I didn't have breakfast. The location was fine - not exemplary, but good. Proximity to the Wal-Mart and other shopping is nice, and there was also a nice view of the river from the back of the hotel. The barbecue/gathering area looks like it would be nice in the spring/summer/fall although we didn't have any desire to spend time out there in the winter weather ;)

I noticed that I was able to hear the television in the next room, so the walls might be just a little thin. Plus, the neighbors turned the TV on a fairly high volume at 11:30 PM so it would have been nice if the insulation was better. I always travel with earplugs though so that's not a deal breaker for me, as I'm hypersensitive to noise at night. OH, and also, I really miss the old days when hotels would supply some sort of guide for what's on TV. I never know what cable or satellite guide to search for online and the remote didn't seem to have an online guide, nor did it have a "return to most recent channel" button (or if it had one, it didn't work).

The room was huge! I can’t say enough how I was impressed with this hotel. When I opened the door to my room I was blown away with the full size fridge and overall layout. They had a enormous area I could take my dogs to run about on leash in or sit in the shade and enjoy the day. There was THE largest selection of snacks available to purchase and the cost for them didn’t break the bank. Going forward wherever I visit Yakima I am staying at My Place Hotel.

Very comfy bed, full size free with ice maker, kitchenette, recliner. Laundry facility.Very friendly and accommodating staff. We thought it was a nice place to stay and would recommend it to others. I would have given it a 10 if they would have had a free breakfast instead one you had to buy. You could get the same thing at McDonalds for a lot less. Plenty of parking space.

I had to go over there to get my car fixed at harvest Honda so I just stayed at the hotel. I've stayed there prior two years ago and it's a very nice good hotel. I always enjoy the location.

The only thing I had a problem with was the bathtub there was no plug for it and my granddaughter wanted to take a bath, but she decided to take a shower and the maintenance guy came up to fix it, but she was in the shower

The location was perfect for our needs because we were in town for a fastpitch tournament for our daughter. The fields were just a few minutes drive away for us, and not far from stores and restaurants. Since we were at the ballpark all day long for games, we didn't need a lot of extra bells and whistles - this place checked off all the boxes for our needs for the short time we were there and we would definitely stay here again.

I was surprised that our kitchenette didn't have any plates, bowls, or pots to cook with. What is the point of getting a room with a kitchenette and having to bring ALL of the things we would need to make meals AS WELL AS food? We ended up eating out anyways because our daughter's team played one of the last games of the day and we didn't leave the ballpark until 8PM. But the main point of staying at this location was the ability to make our own meals instead of eating out. Hopefully this was just an oversight.

My Place was a dream for traveling with my dog! There is a large fenced in area in the back which allowed us to play before getting back on the road again. The outdoor space would be great for humans too during warm weather! The front desk was very kind and helpful. During check in, the front staff person was juggling many tasks, she stayed calm and kind throughout the entire process. Thank you for a good experience.

Nothing to do with the facility itself, but unfortunately, guests did not seem to always pick up after their dog in the back. Please don't ruin a great spot for everyone.

Booking.com surfaced this great hotel that had everything I needed for an extended stay. My husband and I were greeted by Brad, who is an exceptional individual that works the front desk. Thank you, Brad, for making me comfortable and keeping my dog and I safe during our late dog outings. He secures the hotel grounds by doing hourly walks to monitor shady characters that may be prowling the parking lot. Front lobby is bright and welcoming, with immediate view of the common area with complimentary coffee to PC + printer. Couple steps toward the elevator, the laundry room is in view, which I felt very safe doing laundry knowing staff members were nearby. I brought my own detergent. Room #318 was fantastic, with a window view of the parking lot to watch my car. Less than a 5 min walk to Walmart, Electrify America 350KW charge station, Honda, Burger King - all very convenient. It was very quiet at all hours, except for those inconsiderate guests that slammed their metal doors at 6:30am. If you put on your fan to your white noise, all sounds can be muffled. The well maintained Yakima Greenbelt/Greenway and a park with lush grass (in September!) has a long path, adjacent to the Yakima River, right out the side door of the hotel. 1) Room Size: Great! Enough for up to 4 adults 2) Queen Beds: Very comfortable and clean 3) Kitchen: Equipped (had to ask) with pots and stirring utensils, full size fridge, microwave, small sink. Front desk gives you paper plates to plastic ware. Walmart has plastic plates (.50 each), cups (.50 each), utensils (4 metal spoons/forks/knives $1.97), porcelain mugs ($1.00) 4) Bathroom: Bright and spacious with great water pressure 5) Dogs - Each $20 per stay, not per night. 6) Great lighting, loads of outlets to Wi-Fi! 7) A/C - Perfect 8) Elevator: Fast or stairs! 9) Incredibly quiet at nighttime 10) Lovely gated backyard with BBQ facility! Such a BONUS!

Everything was wonderful! Absolutely nothing to complain about. Maybe a treadmill or an elliptical machine would be great for those who need to exercise at night. YMCA offers 10 day punch pass for $35.

Breakfast was ok. They didn't have too much of a selection, but it was ok.

There wasn't anyone at the front desk when I went outside for a cigarette, around 5am. A homeless man followed me in, after I slid my key to unlock the door. I was alone and I felt uncomfortable. Thank God he didn't get on the elevator with me and follow me. I think if someone was at the front desk, this could have been prevented and the man could have been escorted out of the building. Yakima crime rate is beyond scary. I later heard that they did end up escorting a homeless man out of the building. But again, it would have helped my comfort level, if someone was at the front desk at all times.

This chain is really nice. It's kept very clean, and I especially like that the rooms have kitchenettes with a full-size fridge. This is the second time I've stayed here, and it was very close and convenient to the Yakima Convention Center. Coffee was fresh. Staff was friendly. It's right along the river and trail, and walking distance to the Walmart. Ask for an east-facing room so you can enjoy the river view.

I was extremely impressed with the black gal at the desk. I have dogs & needed a couple items. She was awesome! Helped me get what I needed so I could feed my pups.

The BS breakfast. It's not breakfast at all. It's items from the lobby carried to your room for like $8. Online, it states continental breakfast, not true.
