This experience was better than expected honestly. I booked it because it had good reviews on bookings but then I went out on google and did some research and I was like thinking maybe this hotel wasn't gonna be that great but OMG this was SO GOOD! I love the location, the size of the hotel, the amenities, the restaurants, the pools! All the drinks and food! I was absolutely treated so nice by everyone and absolutely recommend this for disconnecting from work and enjoying yourself. I didn't take any photos during my trip because I just wanted to be present if not I would share all in here.

Room comfort, A/C, and cleanliness: A+ Attentiveness and friendliness of staff: A+ (Irene as a drink server by the pools and Ricardo at the guest services were my most favorite two staff members due to their sincerity, professionalism, and willingness to help/assist.) Quality and taste of food/drinks: A+ Overall quality of the resort: A

Air conditioning in specialty restaurants and other common areas such as ice cream/coffee shop: F (I saw cockroaches at the steakhouse, possibly due to extreme heat.) Quality of the beach: D (the sea was always covered by seaweed and there were a lot of big rocks in it; thus using the pools would be your only option.) Freshness of bread/sandwich in the breakfast: D (They were never fresh; please consider getting freshly baked bread for the breakfast.) Quality of ice cream and choco spread: C (I didn’t like the taste of both; thus, please consider using Algida and Nutella products.)

This is our second time vacationing at El Beso and we loved it! The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and clean. The bed is very comfortable and temperature controls were great. We had a swim up room and the water was warm- it was great. The serviced throughout the resort is phenomenal and all of the restaurants are excellent. The food is delicious from the buffet with its various options to each individual restaurant. There are so many fun activities- the Experiences team is great and works hard to give you a great time. Evening entertainment is also great- live music, karaoke , canvas painting, movies, bowling, the arcade, the disco/night club- so much to do. Best of all- Lisandro and Elias our concierges. Wow. Thank you for taking such great care of us- making check ins easy and ensuring our stay was comfortable each day. You two, just like the resort, are simply the best. We will be back next year!

Our stay at El Beso Ocean Riviera was fantastic. The Resort - The resort was beautiful and easy to get around (there's a shuttle bus if you require it, but it's only a 10-15min walk end-to-end), with a wildlife section that had monkeys and coatis. I was anxious about the beach after reading negative reviews beforehand, however we found the beach section to be lovely, sandy, and the ocean was shallow and safe to swim in. There are 4 swimming pools, all are spacious and have plenty of sunbeds. There are clean toilets, bars and food by every poolside. Fatima from the help desk was very helpful and would WhatsApp us asking if we needed anything. Food/Drinks - the food here was incredible. We loved the restaurants, which had beautiful presentation of their dishes, as well as expansive menus. Our favourites include the Steakhouse, the Mexican, and Japanese restaurant. We tried the buffet a handful of times but were sometimes disappointed, so would definitely recommend taking advantage of the all inclusive a la carte here! The beach restauraunt lunch was exquisite. Breakfast was always a treat, as an El Beso guest you get access to an adults-only breakfast at the Blue Moon restaurant. The service was fabulous and they even gave us a special plate on our last morning. Angelica and Jose Maria at the information point were fantastic. We were invited to an exclusive "Chef's Table", which happens every Friday. The privilege lounge opens just for 20 guests, and a 5-course pairing menu is served. It was a highlight of our trip and felt very Michelin-style (and was free!) - if you're at the info point, ask if there's any spaces remaining. The Room - was very spacious and clean. The cleaners would often visit twice daily (morn and eve) and do towel art for us!

We weren't huge fans of their desserts / sweet options around the resort, which we found very artificial. However this might be down to our European taste palette :) The floor of the pools are rough (not smooth tile), my partner cut his thumb whilst swimming underwater, so be cautious!

Awesome rooms. We got an upgrade to a room with a deck that went into a quiet pool which we absolutely loved! We had a concierge, Lisandro, who helped us with all sorts of arrangements every day, and that was really appreciated. The food was between good and excellent. Fantastic selection of options at the buffet, and there were different types of a la carte restaurants to go to as well. Loved the BBQ at the pool for lunch! We went on a pyramid / cenote tour organized on site and it was top notch! Biggest downside was getting talked into a timeshare presentation that went long and when we said no, the salesperson got rude, passive aggressive, and insulted us. Absolutely ruined our morning - the free massage wasn't worth it at all.

This resort is amazing! I've never stayed at a resort like this. It literally has everything. Even an ice cream parlour and coffee shop! Tons of different options for food 24 hours a day. Theatre, bowling alley, arcade, nightclub, pools, beach and lots of different bars.

The AC in my room really wasn't working. Thank goodness I had a ceiling fan. Also, the music played at the pool in El Baso was terrible. Definitely need to change this. I also was told different events were happening and they never did which was a let down. Some drinks were great like the mango banana The mojito and Pina colada were terrible which are normally great when you go to resorts.

I stayed in the adults only section. I had several premium services, such as a food concierge via Whatsapp. She made all the diner reservations for me and she could book them multiple days in advance. Also Lisendro assisted me in several ways during my stay. Also on the day that i left he could whether or not i needed assistance with my suit cases. I liked the adults-only, my swim to apartment and the restaurant reserved for the adults only section bookers

We were in El Beso, adults only building which was very quiet and it was on the end closest to the restaurants, shop and lobby. This made for a very quick and easy walk to everything. The beach was the furthest away, but trams ran constantly getting you to and from. The staff are all very attentive and friendly. The concierge Lisandro was very helpful reaching out to us for whatever our needs were. We were amazed at how efficient the wait staff worked and we felt the food was very good for the most part. The Steak House was excellent, but felt the other fine dining restaurants served just mediocre entrees. The buffet dining was amazing and the selections were limitless.

One minor complaint for myself was that the room had a musty odor. Granted it is humid and probably to be expected. It didn’t bother my husband. Otherwise the room was great, very clean and the king sized bed was so comfortable.

Many things to do, shops, restaurants access to beach. Loved being in El Beso and having the space from people’s kids. The beds were very comfortable. Good food and many options

Restaurant reservation system was frustrating. Having to look on multiple pages on the Ap to understand what where and when was going on. It would have been nice to have a schedule to look at for the week. I was trying to enjoy my time without my phone but felt like I always needed it to figure out what was going on and where to go.

Food was above average for all inclusive. There were several restaurants to chose from. The El Beso adult pool was nice - all of the pools were actually exactly the same (including the Privilage area) so the only difference was no children. Bar staff were nice. Service was good generally. The room was lovely and very spacious. Nice that you could get free room service and mini bar. Good value for money.

The hotel was looking slightly tired, leaving roof in the restaurant, just in need of some work generally. The beach area had work going on. The beach wasn't overly impressive, but in fairness, could be due to the recent hurricane. There was always a lot of noise in the room - sounded like maintenance. Not much entertainment at night. The bars were only open until 2am.
