The hotel was great, the onsens were probably one of the best I've been to with 9 different baths and a sauna 😍 as I chose to walk it was about 1.5 klm from Akita station however buses passed within about 700 metres from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was great. I picked this hotel because of the hot spring onsen. It's location was OK as it was close to the castle ruins and a beautiful park. 😍. The hotel had a restaurant for evening dinner and was reasonably priced. I visited this area to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Akita.
There wasn't any restaurants near by if you were walking which you then had to eat in the restaurant or buy something at a convenience store some 700 metres away. However this wasn't an issue.

The baths were nice. I like that the room's temperature was perfect.
The coin laundry was confusing. I wanted to use the coin laundry on the 6th floor (East building) where a note directed me to the 2nd floor of the same building. Arriving there I was directed to the coin laundry on the 1st floor of the main building. That was cumbersome.

The room was clean and what I liked the most was the spa in front of the hotel. Furthermore, the spa had a wonderful sushi restaurant. It was so nice to stay fun time with my girlfriend.

Very nice onsen with many pools, also outdoor. The Maguro Restaurant was nice and yummy too!

The staff tried to be accommodating.
The smoking room i accidentally booked was terrible, the floors and elevators stunk of smoke. Under the beds were dusty
