The staff who handled our check-in (26 Feb 2025) were welcoming and helpful, especially the lady with glasses who spoke English. Even the gentleman at reception and staff at the dinner buffet gave a good impression despite the language barrier. This contrasted with the staff at reception when we checked out the next day (see next section). I also noticed that staff took special care to arrange the restaurant seating for our group of eight adults - they did a great job so we had both easy buffet access and a bit of privacy. The rooms were impeccably clean and had plenty of amenities, as well as a nice view, windows which could be opened for air, and a beautifully appointed bathroom with excellent water pressure. My expectations in terms of the rooms were exceeded. Both the dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious with some dishes freshly made to order (omelettes at breakfast; seasonal desserts and dishes such as chawanmushi and beef at dinner) - I would glad return just to eat these again. Hotel is within 10 mins walking distance of Umi no Jigoku and a small shopping street. There is a huge parking lot. I did not use the public onsens but my travelling companions did (multiple times), and enjoyed it.

The middle-aged lady staff at reception when we checked out (27 Feb 2025) gave a rather rude impression as she did not greet me, smile, or even look in my direction as I was returning my key for check-out. She was the only sour note to an otherwise lovely experience.

The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the hells of beppu attraction. The buffet (dinner and breakfast) were fantastic. Love the beef steak and the buffet spread. Services by the restaurant crew was fantastic too! The rooms were spacious and the layout was well thought out. The best experience was this particular counter staff. I forgot to note down his name but I really would like to compliment his good service! He was so helpful in giving us the direction to the bus stop and bus time schedule. He personally walked us out of the hotel premise to show us where the location of bus stop. He is what I called service beyond expectation!!

- Personnel is extremely attentive and nice to talk to - Food is very fresh and delicious - the room is great with a lot of complementary things offered (bags for wet clothes, socks, face treatment, ice cream in onsen, etc) - very cozy and hot onsen which is open until midnight - location is very convenient - I visited 5 hells of Beppu and museum by foot - spacious parking

Overall is good but to be honest we stay here is because of their advertisement on the beef they offered for dinner. The steak was not as good as the picture....lol....remember to ask the cut that you want when you order the steak. Staffs are friendly and they hot bath also good. Room is clean and overall stay is good.

Buffet dinner is excellent with unlimited orders of wagyu beef and alcoholic drinks. Buffet breakfast was excellent too. Hotel location is within walking distance to the Thermal Hell pools. Though it's location is a little far from the station, there is a free shuttle services for pick up from and drop off to the Beppu station. Staff are friendly. Onsen bath was excellent too. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay !

Everything! Delicious breakfast and dinner, spacious room, good facilities and very kind staffs. Especially the staffs, we arrived there in windy and cold day. They let us early check in without any surcharge and helped us to make reservation for next day trip. They were so nice and kind. It was very good experience there for my family thanks to the staffs. Highly recomended !!!

The hotel is spotlessly clean. All the staff we met are friendly and a large proportion of them speaks good English so we have no problem settling in or asking questions. All in all, a pleasant surprise. Of course the unlimited Japanese beef and drinks at the buffet is a highlight.

The onsen is a bit too hot…. But not sure is there is anything they can do.

Very well run with friendly and helpful staff. The dinner and breakfast buffets exceeded our expectations.

Only minor complaint was that it was a bit too close to the road - the traffic noise was a bit distracting in the outdoor onsen.

The dinner buffet with the Top Grade Oita Prefecture Beef is excellent. Free drink including whisky、red & white wine、Saki & draft beer are very luxurious，also including the tasty seafood. The hotel is within minutes walk to the Bebbu colourful hot spring.
