It's a great location. 4 minutes walk to the local bus stop and it only takes another 10-15 mins bus ride to its big local supermarket. 8 mins walk to Hakone-Yamato station. Family mart and 7-11 convenience stores are just around the corner. Excellent customer service. Every time I raised a question or concern, the property manager replied promptly and addressed issues straight away. The property is a good size for a family of 4-5, although it can accommodate up to 8 people. It supplies cooking oil, sea salt, soy sauce and washing machine liquid. They have all the cookery and kitchen utensils you need. They have an air-con in each level.

The general rubbish bin was small for us as we cooked every evening, luckily the bin bag was big.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to a bus stop and a 7-Eleven. The property was very clean, and the customer service communication was very prompt.

As a family of four, we were assigned the West-101 block, which has steep stairs leading to the second floor, as the ground floor is rented out as an office. This made it challenging and a bit risky to carry our trolley luggages up. Additionally, they forgot to provide dishwashing liquid. Since we arrived late on a Friday and stayed through the weekend, we weren’t able to get the dishwashing liquid despite notifying them, which was a bit inconvenient.

Very nice house a short walk from the centre of Yumoto. Very good facilities including fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and 2.5 bathrooms (1 'complete', 1 w sink and shower, 1 w toilet and sink) which helps when 4 people are trying to get ready to go out for the day. Being a very modern house it did not feel overly Japanese but still different from the West and a nice break from staying in hotels in other places we travelled to. The host is very responsive and friendly.

No comfy seating near the TV, but this is minor as we didn't come to spend time watching TV.

The house is conveniently located, very clean, and equipped with everything needed for both short and long stays. Although it is close to the road, it's quiet at night. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to experience a stay in a traditional tatami room.

The staircase can be a challenge for bringing up all the luggage, so we left ours near the entrance and had to go downstairs to grab items as needed. The futon beds worked well for the kids, but adults found them a bit firm, so sleep quality was average.

The apartment was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped for a practical stay. Even in rooms with a single electrical outlet, an extension cord was conveniently provided to ensure easy access near the beds. A portable Wi-Fi device was available for us to borrow throughout our stay, which was very helpful. And on a particularly rainy day, we were pleasantly surprised to find umbrellas by the door—an especially considerate touch.

Location. And host was responsive. The property was in good condition and looks new and comfortable. The check in and check out was a breeze. Instructions on the property were clear as well. 7-11 is 40m away.

The kitchen was in the middle level and also the stairs was quite steep. So there will be sounds when walking at the middle level. Could probably have a carpet to muffle the sounds. The bath tub on the ground floor wasn’t as clean. I would recommend that you wash your utensils before using as the guests before might not have washed it clean ( there were some grease on the plates we used)

We had a very pleasant stay at Stagione Hakone Yumoto. Location is convenient, 6 min from Yumoto station. 7/11 is very close to the location. The amenities are exactly what we needed. The place was clean and well maintained. The host was very good and promptly replied to all our queries prior to the actual stay. Our experience was really good. Will definitely recommend this place.

Great little house with everything you need. Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and many restaurants and shops. The host was helpful when we had some confusion over luggage we had shipped ahead of our arrival.

This is not an ideal accommodation for a family with young kids because you can hear every sound from everywhere in the house. The main floor bedroom is open to the loft bedroom on the upper floor. This wasn't clear from the listing which includes photos of their other houses on the same property. The loft ceiling is also so low I couldn't stand up and I'm a short person.

Awesome place to stay! Loved everything about it as it is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. - Spacious for up to 6 people and they even have 2 bathrooms and toilets. - Washing machine is both a washer and a dryer so you do not need to dry off your clothes outside. - Well equipped kitchen for those who cooks. - Available parking space for those who drives. - 7-eleven is less than 5 minutes walk. - They provide free portable wi-fi for you to use around the area. - Beds in futon style. Wished that we stayed more than one night here. 😌

I don't recommend those with super big luggages or those who can't climb stairs as there are narrow stairs upon entering the door to get to the living area. The location could be a bit further from Hakone-Yumoto station (around 8-10mins walk), so dragging roller luggage could be a bit tiring on the road. But it's a peaceful town so taking your time walking pass through the river could be quite nice.

It was clean and fit 2 families of 4. It was aesthetically pleasing and like a 10 min walk to town but only a few min walk to a couple Izakayas. The 7 eleven was like a min or 2 walk away! Easy check in and out.

The mats (beds) on the 3rd loft area were thin given that you are sleeping on the floor, not a Tatami mat. The 3rd floor is a loft, not a room, so you can hear the 2nd floor clearly.
