Loved that this accommodation is conveniently located just a couple minutes from Hakone Yumoto station. Nicely set up, cozy, clean, and secure double size bed room with tv, in suite toilet, sink and shower. Decor is modern mixed with classic wood. My room overlooked the quiet backstreet.

The door pin code for access to the accommodation was located quite a ways down in an email I received the day of check in, which made the check in procedure a little complex in the dark. The room was adequately sized, but the only sink in the room was the small side hand washing sink in the toilet area which made brushing teeth and routine tasks challenging. Would also love to see the addition of a couple more hooks and hangers for hanging things up.

Nice and clean and so close to the station and Hakone Yuryo, it was great. Very clean and nicely sized bed and very cozy vibey facilities. For a just one overnight stay (we did a day trip) its perfect.

IT IS AS SMALL AS IT ADVERTISES. The whole room was basically a bed, a small hallway to a bed, and a closet bathroom. You are getting what you pay for. I would advise not bringing large luggages, you will also have to carry them upstairs since there's no elevator. Me and my friend had one large checked size luggage to share and it barely fit in the hallway portion.

Great location, just across the street from the train station, and surrounded by lots of restaurants/shops. Staff was really helpful - arrived slightly earlier than check in time and we were allowed to check in early as our room was available. Written instructions were also provided for check in/out and were really clear and informative.

No stairs in the property. However, no complaints regarding this as we did already expect this (clearly mentioned in the room/hotel description and we made the booking knowing this).

The room was exactly as described and seen in photos. The room was clean and met all our expectations. The building was clean and the directions given for the room code and entrance were clear. The amenities were a great surprise! and the location was very convenient to a lot of good places to eat and the train station. There are no elevators, this was disclosed before booking so not a surprise but keep that in mind because you do have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Overall 10/10 would stay here again!

short walk from Hakone Yumoto. Just behind the main streets but quiet after 6pm as shops close early and not much traffic thereafter. convenience store just short walk away too. room was of good size for 2 adults 2 kids. had enough space to open luggage and even had dinner in the room as there was a good size low table. bathroom was huge, with a bathtub and tv.

deposited the luggage in a small storeroom with no lock and nobody mending it. all based on trust. no lift but room on level 2, still manageable. ok for a one night stay.

This hotel is right across from the train station, which was perfect for us because we only needed 1 night for our trip to Hakone. The room was very clean. The mattresses were comfortable. The bathroom was quite large, and also very clean. The instructions for entering the building were very clear. The smell of tatami in the room was very pleasant.

We were only here for 1 night (arriving late and leaving early), and we were perfectly satisfied. The room is small, but it was exactly as described and photographed.

I spent two nights in Hakone and had a wonderful time. This hotel is perfectly placed, close to the station and shops/restaurants. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty close by. There is no reception but the systems work well. A comfortable, no thrills stay.

I knew what to expect so wasn't bothered by the lack of staff or restaurant. the hotel is clean and comfortable.

Everything we needed for a great short stay was there. Slippers, sleepwear, bath products, pod coffee. The beds were so comfortable, and the little sofa area was nice. The room was very quiet, very clean and modern with a Japanese touch.

There is no elevator so not great if you have a big bag (we did not). Other than that, we highly recommend Mira Hakone to friends and family. It's just off the main street, very convenient access from Hakone Yumoto Station.

You can't beat the location: 2-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto station. Multiple amenities despite being small. Nice pajamas. Small but very good use of space. Staff were attentive and polite over Booking app.

The bathroom is OK, but negative punctuation due to the constant buzzing noise made by the toilet. Had to switch it off to turn off the sound, which meant turning on again when we needed to use it. Could use better noise insulation overall.

Very small hotel, conveniently placed five minutes walk from the station in a quiet back street in the centre of town. No staff are present but communications re: check-in were very good. The hotel made it clear that there was no lift and that the rooms were compact. The room and bathroom were very clean, and were, as the hotel stated, compact. The shower, also, was small, but it had very good pressure. Toiletries were fine and generous.

I didn't find the VERY low bed easy to get into and certainly people with movement difficulties may find the same thing. There was no room for a chair in the room, so you could only relax lying on the bed. Similarly, people who find stairs difficult may want to request a room on the lower floors, since dragging cases up to the third floor is not particularly easy.
