This hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in 3 hotels during our trip to Fukuoka, and hands down my family of 6 voted Fairfield by Marriott Ukiha as the most comfortable and memorable stay. We have never felt so rested! While its location requires a car to get to, all my concerns about meals and finding things to do were unfounded. The rest stop just next to the hotel had a very good selection of ready to eat food that we happily ate for breakfast. The huge table and pantry with free coffee/tea and microwave was a relaxing spot for my family to eat the food we bought from the rest stop. The rooms were spacious enough, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pajamas were comfy too. The hotel has also thoughtfully provided pamphlets to nearby restaurants and attractions we can go to.Kudos to the staff who were super helpful in answering my questions and even helped make dinner reservations for us. When language was a barrier, Google Translate easily solved the problem. We highly recommend Nibante as a dinner venue and for coffee lovers, there's Kirito Coffee Roasters across the road.

The hotel is ideally located next to a rest stop station with a wide selection of food and drinks. Guests can enjoy their meals from the rest stop in the hotel lobby, where a spacious table is provided for convenience. Free drinks are also available in the lobby. A Chinese-speaking staff member was extremely helpful during check-in and offered great recommendations for nearby amenities. Although it's a bit off the main tourist route, it’s a fantastic spot for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

Marriott is always one of my top choices when booking a hotel, and it didn’t disappoint this time either. This small yet beautiful hotel features a Japanese-inspired design paired with modern amenities. It’s conveniently located next to a local market, offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and snacks—perfect for a quick and casual breakfast.

It might be a bit inconvenient for guests who are not driving.

Beautifully designed and practical rooms, amazing complimentary coffee available 24 hrs, comfortable shared dining area next to the lobby, ample parking spaces, great location next to the Ukiha visitor information center and market place - absolutely delightful during persimmon season with so many different kinds of persimmons from various fields on offer

Had the most comfortable stay! The hotel was clean, quiet and beautiful! Staff was wonderful and helpful, spoke good english! Bed was huge and we slept so well! Loved the shared kitchen where we could prepare our dinner from 7/11 just down the street.

A bit far from restaurants, but we had a car so was not really a problem. No breakfast, but had a store next door where we could have bought some if we wanted.

Comfortable, nicely designed property with ample parking at the back.

We stayed on a Sunday at the end of December and we really struggled to find a restaurant that was open for dinner. Not sure if it was because it’s a Sunday or the New Year holidays but we had to buy food from 7/11 to heat up in the microwave. The communal kitchen gets quite busy at meal times. Because of the time of the year the hotel was also very overpriced.

Everything was great. We walked in without booking but the receptionist was very helpful even with language barrier thanks to google translate. Room was spacious enough, clean and bed was really comfy. There is a morning market next to the hotel where you can buy breakfast and bring back to the hotel and enjoy it at the lounge area with complimentary coffee and tea.

Value for money, clean and comfortable stay. Love the cosy and clean room. King size bed is very comfortable. Staff are very friendly, they helped us to get a reservation for dinner. Morning market is right beside the carpark. Good to check it out for breakfast. Washing machine and dryer machine are linked to app where you can try the progress. Lounge area is very cosy too.

Clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. Although no restaurant for breakfast, the hotel is actually right next to a local market, where we bought some locally prepare cooked food back and enjoyed at the hotel's lounge area. It has complementary microwave, coffee machine.

If booked via Booking.com, we couldn't credit the Marriott Bonvoy programme. Worth to take note.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious, very clean and modern design, the shower and bathroom were really nice. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel are new and great (coffee machine, microwaves, places to sit and eat, etc.).

The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere. For us it was convenient because it wasn’t too far from the airport though not in the center of the city.
