The biggest plus is the close proximity to the Kagoshimachuo Station which is a center for transportation, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is very modern, rooms and facilities very clean, staff very helpful, well trained and experienced, especially when compared to US/Canadian/European hotels. Buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. Since this is a Japanese hotel, its room size would be considered very small compared to other country hotels.

Kind of nick picky but the bathroom door would not stay open. Housekeeping was every third day, which was OK with me. The sidewalk to and from the hotel is uneven and busy. Those with mobility issues will have problems accessing the hotel.

The location was excellent. The hotel was close enough to the Kagoshima-Chuo Shinkansen station, about a 10 minute from hotel to station. The room was good and facilities were good.

The only problem we had was the language barrier.A bit difficult to communicate as the staff's English was poor and difficult to understand each other.

It’s near Kagoshima-Chuo station. However, if you’re travelling by highway buses, or taking the bus to Kagoshima airport, be sure to leave the hotel at least 20min before to ensure ample time to navigate your way to the bus station to purchase tickets as it’s quite abit of distance away. The room is standard business hotel size. It’s difficult to open up large size luggage. Room was clean and had the minimum amenities needed for a night’s stay.

Location the best. Very close to the train station and shopping. Typical size rooms for Japan. Located in the hub of activities. Being centrally located, used taxi rather than using train or bus to visit various sites. Breakfast good choices between western and Japanese food. Having breakfast in the hotel much easier than venturing out. Staff extremely helpful and courteous.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a reasonable size and clean. Bed very comfortable. Good location as close to the station.

No breakfast as the restaurant was being refitted (despite offering option to order breakfast - they could have updated us on this).

Excellent location, essentially right outside Kagoshimachuo Station, with easy transport links to the rest of the city and very close to lots of food options. Room was compact as is expected in Japan, but very comfortable and well-equipped. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. I had a great stay here!

room was very spacious especially by Japanese standards, very comfortable big bed and duvet. tv is generously large too, with some English on demand movies and BBC. entry step into bathroom is not too high.

Air conditioner did not cool the room efficiently but as it was winter I opened the window so it was not really a problem

The room was clean and we had a good view of the ferris wheel. Convenient location next to the train station and many restaurants and shops nearby.

The laundry machines didn't do a good job and the dryer took a long time.

Hotel location is great. Breakfast 1500 JPY in addition/ person We book for non smoking but in side room smell smoke odor, as well as corridor rather bad smell.
