The facilities here are clean and well-maintained. I stayed for six days and enjoyed every moment. For those primarily looking for a place to rest after going out, this is a great option. The mattress isn’t the best, but it’s comfortable enough for sleeping, considering the price. I have no complaints. The shower, toilet, living room, kitchen, and laundry area are all clean.

I would suggest adding some hooks inside the room to make it easier for guests to hang jackets or personal belongings. Also, while the listing mentioned a bidet, there wasn’t one in the room. However, the toilet was still clean and comfortable.

this place could not be closer to the station. Which is great cuz it was raining cats and dogs. The check in/out was easy peasy, and my room was , as I asked for, since I don't walk well, close to the bathroom, and on the bottom floor. The kitchen had the complete package of toaster oven/microwave/stove with big refridgerator/freezer, which I love cuz I need to cook my own food. ( can you say fussy traveller? ) Everything was clean and they had extras like bicycles and a washing machine. There was no way I was going to be comfortable on just the one thin futon, so the staff gave me a 2nd one to add, and I slept like a baby. lovely air conditioner. shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. Filtered tap water. 2 laptops for customers to use, and the ferry schedules, and other needed info . were posted clearly.

the room layout of the private room is clunky, I had to crawl over the bed to get into it. If a carpenter shaved some of the bed down , I think it would fit across the room in a more standard way, and that would also make the room feel bigger. but the room did have another stool and table crammed in there, and that is nice , to have a place to put my things. Also the curtain is way too thin for the fact that the neighbors have a bright light shining in - it needs a window darkening curtain. But , like I said, I slept really well , so those are only small needed improvements.

Everything was great- 1) Location (4 mins away from Kagoshima JR station) 2) Staff - very friendly and accommodating 3) Facilities - Shared kitchen with free tea, utensils etc. Free use of the washing machine (Small fee if you want to use the tumble dryer, but if you aren't short of time, there is a clothes air drying area) 4) Female Dormitory room - Warm and comfy. Individual lockers were provided. The curtains on the bunk bed were thick so could sleep in privacy. (The beds were futon beds, so westerners may find it a bit thin)

Excellent value private rooms, extremely close to KagashimaChuo station ~4 minutes walk. Easy to get buses from the station to wherever and a 15 minute walk into Downtown. Simple rooms but well appointed, our room was a triple room arranged with a bunk bed and loft. Kitchen is small but functional and common space is simple but nice. Staff very friendly. Free washing machine and coin dryer, drying area also. Shower facilities and toilets good.

Bed wasn’t the comfiest but for 2000 jpy per person it wasn’t bad.

The location is very good, really close to Kagoshima chuo station. The bed was comfortable, with an outlet to charge my phone and a curtain for privacy. The people are friendly and accommodating. I could leave my luggage there after the check-out to enjoy the city a bit more.

There was no light in the bed and little room for luggage in the shared room. The kitchen was a bit too small, even for one person, let alone for many. The eating space was a bit small, too. It's not a problem if you're planning to eat out.

Staff is very nice. Good Location. Can use kitchen for cooking. Free washing machine. Reasonable and cheap price, dormitory room.

Very cute little sharehouse in the center of Kagoshima! The staff was very friendly and cleaned everything regularly! I was in a female only room and I felt comfortable. Washing machine was for free! Drier was 300 Yen, but that is pretty normal everywhere in Japan. I met a lot of interesting and fun people. The hostel had a shared kitchen and living room so in the evening we could sit together and meet new people! It felt very cozy!

I did not know that they don‘t provide any towels, so my first night there I was without towel and toothbrush… the next day I bought myself some. The light was always on in the room, it was not a bright light but a small one. It was nice on one hand because at night you could see when you had to leave the bed but at the same time the first night it disturbed me a little bit.

Cheapest accommodation I found, and it fit my needs for a nice place to stay with sufficient facilities. The bed was comfortable and the staff offered a locker to put my belongings in too. I could put my bags down before check-in timing, which also helped in my travelling!

Sometimes there is a faint smell of smoke near the doorways, but it is fine within the rooms.
