Perfect location at the end of the covered shopping street near Kagoshima-Chuo. Cheerful staff, no housekeeping, but towels and trash bags were provided every day. Great lighting in the room.

Imperfect soundproofing between floors. Only one elevator which got busy at times.

Really good location, close to the train station. The hotel is new. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like is the fridge - it was quite loud at the night.

Hotel is in great location, really close to the metro so you can get to down town easily. There are also restaurants and cafes right out side the street. They lend me an unmbrella when it raind and was very helpfull and generus. The room quality is 10/10, and really liked it. For the price, location and quallity of room, this hotel is totally recommanded!

The parking of the hotel is the other side of the street, so if you come navigating with Google maps, go to the other side of the street (As the street of the hotel is no-entry for cars)

The whole place was nice and tidy and clean and refreshing. I like the friendly staff, the security, the rooms and services available. And the free coffee was a nice touch. And the ice machine.

A bit of ventilation within the hallways and elevator was not that great. The lingering smells and scent of other people and food, laundry, trash lingered for a little bit. But, this place was air-tight, so no bugs was inside the building ( which i appreciate) just a bit "stuffy" Also, I did not know if the "sink" water was "safe" to drink. Some hotels have a "sticker" to indicate if its safe to drink or not. However, there was free bottle of water on the hallway so I guess it was not a big deal .

Just a few minutes walk from Kagoshima Chuo station, this brand new hotel is lovely. All the staff and especially the owner/manager were friendly and helpful. The amenities are good, there’s a coffee machine at the reception, an easy and relaxed feel. There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, a convenience store and supermarket close by. The Myouban Onsen is about ten minutes walk away. Near the station there are several shopping centres and an Aeon department store. We initially booked for two nights but decided to extend our stay another two nights. Kagoshima is excellent for food, hope we can come again

Hotel Noir is a lovely boutique hotel, very close to Kagoshima Station and inside a shopping mall. Make sure you take the exit towards the bus stands to locate it quickly. There are drinks machines just a couple of meters from the hotel and lots of restaurant choices. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Enjoyed the layout of the room and size of bed and the lighting features. I would be very happy to rebook this hotel again as it's easy to get to different locations from there.

The location of the hotel was within a shotengai, which made nearby restaurants and shopping easy. A Don Quixote was located nearby so it was easy to pick up stuff. It was also very close to Kagoshimachuo station, bus stops, and the streetcars. The hotel was very modern and new with a lot of USB A and C ports inside the room to handle all charging needs. The room was long and decently spacious. Wide enough to easily open a suitcase as well as having a good amount of room to store suitcases at the foot of the bed. The TV in the room was also quite large. The room was very clean and amenities were easily accessible or provided. Check in and check out was seamless. Wifi speeds were about 100-150 mbps.

A very minor issue, but the power sockets under the TV made it very difficult to plug in larger chargers and plug cables into them because they would hit the TV. It may have just been an issue in my room.

The room is small but very clean and compact. The hotel is newly opened in early 2024. I have got everything I need for a short stay. In terms of location, it is quite central, though not the best. It is manageable to pull the luggage and walk 5 minutes, mostly under the shade area, to the airport bus terminal, city bus terminal and central Kagoshima station. There are lots of choices of restaurants, cafes around the area. I only stayed for one night, and I slept very well, In fact it was the best night out of my 8-day trip in Kagoshima. Surprisingly, they have good regular coffee from the machine.

Checkout time at 10am is a bit early. Checkin and checkout were done in the machine. There was not much interaction with the staff. No window in my twin room, except there is a window in the bathroom. The lift was not working properly and we need to waited for about 5 min in the lobby. I wish there were more than 2 choices of coffee available from the machine. In addition of hot coffee and ice coffee, it would be nice to have cappuccino, etc.

The location was great. Within five minutes of the airport bus and a major JR station, and close to two tram stops as well. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of free amenities provided. The TV was huge and the perfect place to watch from in bed. You could easily log onto Netflix or Hulu if you have an account and watch those. Great water pressure in the shower and bathtub filled up quickly.

The photos showed a small seating area in the room which I did not have. The desk had no chair at all, so I had to work on my computer sitting in the bed which wasn’t comfortable. Nowhere good to eat in the room as well without a chair.

We liked the location of the hotel. It was only 200m or so from Kagoshima Chou train station. Its location in an arcade means that when it’s raining you can walk to the hotel without getting wet. Also, it is surrounded by a vibrant restaurants area so you don’t have to go far for a great meal. We particularly liked the staff. They were extremely helpful and patient and went to a lot of trouble to meet our needs. When we asked to extend our stay they took the trouble to arrange it so that we could have the same room. The Hotel Noir is a brand new hotel. It is clean and tidy and it has all the amenities we have come to expect in a hotel: laundry, ice dispenser, free coffee, etc I’m very happy to recommend this hotel.
