It was basic, but clean. I chose it due to proximity to the shinkansen station, which worked out well. Good walking/dining options nearby. There was free coffee in the lobby in the morning, which I appreciated (not common in Japan in my experience). I liked that breakfast was optional and not included since I usually eat something very small, if I eat at all in the morning and don't like having to pay for a breakfast I won't eat. There is a breakfast offered for an additional charge at check-in.

Room was very small by US standards, but normal for a Japanese business hotel.

The breakfast was so unique because it was pre plated so no food gies to waste .. the restaurant is pleasant .. i think its a business hotel ..but it was good and i did loke my room it was bright and sunny and had anice view Thank you

I think the sheets were not changed from the previous guests .. also the bathroom had hair from the previous guests and the metal fixtures were not shined ..

Second time staying here. The aircond can finally be adjusted. Its usually hot in autumn at kagoshima. Esp this year, so its good i can have air cond functioning in the room. They also added air purifier which is fantastic. Location is so near the station, just exit shinkansen ticket and turn left (west exit). U will get pass big c camera shop and in abt 3 min reach the hotel. Nice hotel ~

Sound proofing should be improved. Seems to have deteriorated from my last stay. I can hear noises from next room, albeit not too loud. Still, its a bit annoying. The bed and pillow somehow not so comfy anymore. Cant get a whole night sleep without waking up 2 or 3 times. Used to sleep the night over during my 1st stay. I think they should give free VOD for every guests as there is nothing much to watch for foreign travellers. A certain big hotel chain in japan now offered all free VOD which is great.

Wonderful location! Perfect place to travel around the city as it's right next to the train station. A cozy and comfortable room for the amount of time I stayed. Staff were very friendly and did their best to communicate with me.

One thing is just the chair in the room is not comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time when doing work. I don't find that to be a hinderance on the overall experience though.

Small room with a beautiful view. Very good breakfast, large selection. The service is absolutely exemplary. Convenient location for those traveling by train, close to the station. Excellent price / quality ratio. Larger, more comfortable room still at a very attractive price. I would definitely choose again.

Room a little small than some but much bigger than some we have encountered. Bedding and pillows little on hard side, but seems to Japan.

Smart newish building directly outside Kagoshima Chou station where Shinkansen arrives Close to catch trolley buses into town and to Sakurajima. Lots of eating places close by. Very functional room, quiet, nonsmoking property. Breakfast very good.

Ideal location to the rear of station. Less traffic. Family Mart is near. Room is spacious for the price. Shower facilities is great.

This hotel is excellent. I decided staying for one more night due to flight change. It is close to JR station and shopping malls. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff members are excellent too. They are friendly and helpful.

Exit thru BIC Camera is so close to the hotel. There is a Seattle’s Best Coffee near this exit which is very helpful to us. Also, staff allowed us to check-in 30 minutes early which is so nice. The Juan Central Station West Entrance branch had the best Kurobuta Tonkatsu we have tried so far. It is just beside the hotel. Request for room facing east to see My Sakurajima. Though, a big ferris wheel is blocking the view.
