The hotel is next to the Kanazawa train station which makes it very easy to travel to and from the city. All the city buses depart from the Kanazawa station, which makes it very convenient to travel around the city. The biggest bonus perhaps is the fact that the station itself has a good shopping centre and many restaurants. There is also two floors of restaurants and shops next to the hotel. It is literally right next door and is 99.9% under cover, which we found a big help at night when it was freezing and raining outside! We had two very satisfying meals - yakitori and yakiniku in the building next door and would happily recommend them. The room itself is very spacious and has a lot of light. The bed is large, very comfortable and everything works. The cleaning lady is also very diligent in replenishing the amenities in the room.

There is no view from the hotel room, just looking at other buildings. This is the only criticism that we have about this hotel. That said, I guess this is the same issue other hotels in the city will have.

This is a wonderful experience to stay in. Every detail has been thought through. The rooms are big and have many design details that make you feel welcomed. Beds are great. The location is super central to hit the loop bus to all attractions.

One thing that struck is that the hotel restaurant only opens until 8. we couldn’t get a reservation in as it was booked out. For an international chain with tons of foreign guests hard to understand. The bar food options and the in room dining is unfortunately a big -. When I mentioned this to the receptionist he agreed. Food options at night at the hotel doesnt live up to the rest of the great experience. On the flip side it forced us to hunt for food and ended up with an amazing japanese kaseike experience close to the train station who also took guests beyond 8pm.

Location of hotel is amazing, the station is nearby. The staff was super nice and English was not a problem. Room was huge and had all the things you need, what was strange that they didn't offer pyjamas which is normal to have in each hotel which I visited in Japan. Breakfast was fabulous I had to order it as extra though it was worth it it had Japanese, western kitchens everything that you need. You can find a lot of food places near by. I will book this hotel again if I will come back to Kanazawa.

Hyatt Centric is a 3 minute walk from the Kanazawa train station. On exiting from the gantry, turn left and go through the exit along Starbucks. Take a left bend at another Starbucks and you can see the hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The decor, right from the entrance to the lobby to the rooms, is fantastic. Room was surprisingly large and tastefully furnished. Because of its central location, it’s within walking distance to many attractions such as Kenrokuen gardens, Samurai district and Omicho market among others. Would stay here again! We had dinner on the 14th at the restaurant, very good food. Note: The staff are standing all the time from morning to evening for some reason, they should be allowed to sit when the can I feel.

Top class hotel with lots of attention to detail. Centrally located adjacent to main train and bus stations and shopping mall. Excellent roof top bar with experienced and friendly bar staff. Very good dining facilities with a reasonable range of dishes and wines. Ice machine and chilled water dispensers on each floor. Would happily stay at Hyatt Centric on my next trip to Kanazawa.

Check in/out is not as fast as I am used to with other quality hotel franchises.

The artwork in this hotel made of both gold and other materials is amazing. The first thing you see when you walk in is a giant 3D gold sculpture made of cogs and bolts. Even the hotel rooms have these giant pieces of art over the bed head. The water that you get for FREE is in metal bottles which is very environmentally friendly. There also ice and water refill machines that you can use for free on some of the floors that the hotel guests can access through the key card use in the elevator to get to the other floors. The staff are very friendly and can speak English. The bathroom is very clean as well as the bathtub. The view looking out to Kanazawa station is beautiful, especially if you’ve come when it snows. The breakfast buffet has many choices to choose from and has many local delicacies and delicious food to have for a special breakfast. Many shops and the station is very close by and a 2-3 minute walk undercover, or an outside walk in the snow or sun.

The hotel was outstanding in all aspects. The attention to detail by housekeeping was unbelievable. They replaced amenities, added Nespresso pods, tea, slippers, pajamas and towels. The room was totally clean. The room was comfortable for 3 persons and was a good size. HyattCentric was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We plan to return

This a very elegant property. Our king room was large and spotless, it could accommodate comfortably 3 people. We loved the design, the colours, the details that make this a worthy 5-star property. We were very happy with the mix of Japanese and Western breakfast, both in terms of variety and quality. Fast self checkout was appreciated, as we had to run for the train (btw, despite being next to the station, the hotel is very quiet). Overall we loved this hotel and we would definitely choose Hyatt Centric again for our next Kanazawa trip.

We were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and the warm, attentive staff. The room was modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The hotel’s quiet atmosphere provided a peaceful retreat, and its central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area.

There was very little to fault during our stay—everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Great modern groovy and friendly hotel. Staff were helpful little cafe restaurant in the first floor was great. Free morning coffee a really nice touch. Great gym. Walking distance to station ,shops and restaurants. Loved our time spent here. Great bar ( photo taken from the bar at night) and complementary drinks and canapés every night.
