I relish their scrumptious curry and quail eggs. You can savor free meals whenever you want when hotel's restaurant is open. The hotel is situated near Kokura Rear Station (North exit), so it's more quiet. Compared to riotous south side, I go for north side. About my room, it was a bit small, whereas it was okay. Staffs are well-trained. They resolved my problem in no time. Anyway... At this price, staying at Quintessa Hotel Kokura gives good bang for your buck.

When I was about to sack out, I found a splotch of blood or coffee on my bed. (I'm not sure which it was.) That was my only gripe.

The hotel is very close to the main station just a couple of minutes walking from one of the exits. The staying includes free breakfast, a nice and warm curry with vegetables to start the day. Finally, the rooms are small but very comfortable and clean.

There is not much I did not like it, honestly. I was traveling for work, and I just needed a nice place for a couple of days. The hotel is simple but it matched my expectations. I would recommend other with similar needs.

This was our second visit here. The staff was friendly as always. We enjoy our staying here. Close to the station and the curry was delicious!! The room is small, but since we just needed a place to sleep, we had no problem:D

This time, we had a room at the end of the building, which was right next to the train passing, so it was a bit noisy.

The hotel is basically next to the Kokura station. The area is populated with restaurants and shops (including a building with Animate, Mandarake and others all in one place, and it's just a couple of minutes away by walk). Free curry rice is available at breakfast and dinner. As a bonus it's possible to rent Manga to read at the reception.

Free meals for breakfast and dinner. Free book and comics rental. The distance to the train station, near to AMU plaza, restaurants and cafes.

The only thing that I hated was the air-con in the room. Somehow it couldn't be controlled. After blowing cold air for a few minutes, then it would stop. I had to manually turn it on again, but the problem happened again a few minutes later. And then, there was a Japanese voice coming from the air-con. Basically, I was almost sleepless for two nights staying in this place.

Clean, comfortable, quiet. 2 minute walk from Kokura station which is very convenient. Unlimited rice/curry for breakfast and dinner is a lovely addition, the curry is flavoursome and rich which is really enjoyable (if only it also came with pork). Free soft drinks during the meal area availability was also really lovely after a long day out. Would high recommend for anyone staying in Kitakyushu

Nothing to dislike. If only I knew how to read Japanese to also enjoy the manga.

Nice, clean room with a comfortable bed and a workspace. Laundry facilities are available as well. You can enjoy curry rice for both breakfast and dinner, along with coffee and other beverages.

There were plenty of manga available, but unfortunately, none in English. If you know Japanese, then it’s a paradise. Of course, it's not the hotel’s fault—more my own for being lazy with my Japanese lessons.🤭

The location was great, only a few meters from the train station which was great because it was raining when we were there. We arrived early and they let us keep our baggage there at no charge. The comic books are in japanese, but it's such a nice feature anyway. The room was a bit more spacious than the average room in this style.

We asked airport shuttle bus, how to get back to Kyushu airport to the staff. They were very helpful in writing, and drawing the map for us. Because we were very confused about which bus terminal number we should be in! They spent roughly 30 minutes to convince me, which is a great deal. Thank you so much! The curry at night and in the morning, I liked the potato especially, were lovely. Soothing the tummy of tired tourists!

As located in the central, the size of the room is modest, and it's a normal hotel room. Nothing to complain -
