The hotel is very well located as it is right next to the bus stop and metro station, which is very convenient as the bus from the airport leaves you literally at the entrance of the hotel. In the metro station there are restaurants and shops. Also, it's very close to the stadium and convention center, only two block away! Finally, the breakfast buffet is very good!

Overall a very good experience in the hotel. The staff was very helpful but maybe as it is an international hotel, they should improve their communication in English.

Very upscale place with several dining options. Beautiful gym and pool. Rooms a nice size with large comfortable beds.

For the price I felt the gym and pool use should be included. I had trouble finding a restaurant that served GFfood but we were able to talk with the chef at the Chinese restaurant and he made us an excellent GF dinner!

The breakfast was exceptional, in a quite spacious and calm setting. A delectable chicken ball soymilk soup was so amazing. A great selection of traditional and Western options for you to enjoy. Outstanding. The lobby area was the most spacious I have ever encountered anywhere.

I feel the coffee, not just here, but all over Japan is not as good as it should be.. (Written by Australian coffee snob lol)

The view!!! Spectacular! Even though the day was rainy and horrible the view was superb and I got to watch sunrise too so was pretty happy (I'm a very light sleeper). Also i love watching trains so was happy to see shinkansen coming and going from the station too. The staff allowed me to check in early even though it is almost impossible in Japan! So kudos for that 👏. Staff was very nice and friendly and the room. It is right next to the translation, just use the bridge. 1000%recommend. I want to be back to Kokura again when the weather will be nicer so will definitely choose the same hotel again

A classy hotel within easy walking distance of the Kokura Shinkansen station and the convention center. The rooms are nice and clean, with plenty of amenities and a beautiful view of Kitakyushu. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with both Japanese and Western offerings. The room service dinner options were also tasty and very decently priced.

Most of the staff do not speak English. Nevertheless, the staff are very friendly and hardworking, and with the help of translation devices, we were able to communicate.

Can't get the receipt for my stay due to booking Rihga hotel via Booking.com as informed by the hotel staffs. But the other hotels which were booked the same can provide the receipt ???

The location is right next to Kokura shinkansen station, so it's a big plus. The room was very spacious, and offered at a very competitive price. I've been staying in and around Kokura a number of times for the last 15 or so years, and this was definitely the best spot.

Delicious breakfast. Central location. We walked to the night food market street along the river bank. Hotel public hot spring is less crowded. Only two of us including another lady.

When we arrived at the hotel, it took a little bit longer waiting for valet parking. It seemed like the lady staff who worked on the shift was not capable of handling the multiple-vehicle parking

You cannot find a more central location than this one, unless you book at the station's hotel. Excellent views from the tower to the entire bay. The breakfast is very good with broad choices, both asian and european. The personnel is super.

The hotel is 30 years old. Nevertheless it is in an excellent condition.

The location next to the train station was super convenient and it was easy to get around. Parking was plentiful. The room was comfortable with a great view of the bay. The staff was great and check in was quick. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
