Koko Hotel Premier Kumamoto the best hotel, everything very convenient. The front desk staff was very... very good and polite always with smiling face, you're the best 👍👍👍. They very patient explain very detail of the car parking area and to make the payment. They are the best representative of the hotel image. Will definitely go back to KOKO hotel Premier again if I visit Kumamoto.

The cafe middle age lady staff that take care the morning breakfast was not like the staff at the front desk. There no smiling face always look angry face. Their breakfast normally not much choice. Overall still okay for someone that didn't eat much.

The hotel is strategically located where it is nearby the tourist areas and the famous shopping arcade, all within walking distance. It itself is located inside the big shopping mall where you can eat and shop. It is also near the tram station and you can move to many places using the tram (if you are interested in sightseeing in city) The room is a bit packed with a narrow walking path around the bed. The bathroom is spacious and it comes with bath tub and a shower and i like the design on how they combine both. Unless you are booking big room, a standard king size bed room - it becomes very congested if you need to open up big luggage. So, carry light would be what i suggest. The shopping mall has a roof top garden which you can also explore. BTW, the receptionist of KOKO hotel is on 14th floor and guest rooms are below 14 floor. So, move to 14 floors before you go to your room and if you want to leave hotel, go to 14th floor first and take the other elevator which leads you to the 2nd floor - entrance to shopping mall. The bus terminal is also in the mall. You can take airport bus from hotel to airport or vice versa. It is very convenient to travel here by airport bus. When you reached the terminal, just go to 2nd floor and you can see KOKO hotel direction.

Booking.com did not mention that this hotel is located inside the shopping mall. I have trouble looking for the place, even though google map said i have reached. I cannot see any hotel name from outside so it is very difficult to find the place as i was expecting to see KOKO hotel logo like any other hotel. the logo is only available inside the shopping mall. Also, for self drive, i have problem searching and didn't even know where the carpark is. Because i didn't know it is in the shopping mall. In the end, i have to push luggage back and forth under the hot sun.

Hotel was in an excellent location in Sakuramachi above the shopping mall & bus terminal - also 5min walk from Kumamoto Castle. Parking facilities nearby was excellent & the hotel offered a fixed daily overnight rate of ¥1,200 with these parking facilities. Great service at the hotel, we had a twin room which was very spacious. Very interesting concept of going up to 14F for the reception from the 2F of the shopping mall then changing lifts to go down to the 10F for our room. And when we had to go down, we had to change lifts again on the 14F. The hotel seemed to have a fabulous restaurant on the 14F with fabulous views of the city but we didn’t eat there this time. We loved the convenience & location of the hotel as we used it as our base for some travels around Kyushu.

It was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks tour in Kyushu. Other than the hotel being a little hassle to get into (the lobby was on the highest floor and to access the lobby, you'd have to find the lift on the 2nd floor) and possibly difficult to find if not for reviews we'd read beforehand, everything was great from the service, location, comfort, cleanliness and value for money. It was close to plenty of good food, shopping, convenient for travelling (close to bus/trams), would definitely recommend and stay again if I had the chance to revisit Kumamoto

Fantastic views from our 13th floor room. Can't believe the 3 acre park below with ponds, streams, art installations, children's attractions, etc is on the 7th story floor. Visit it Superb bakery, Maison Kaiser, on 1st floor. It can be hard to find the hotel entrance. Don't give up. It's an interconnected array of top quality stores, restaurants, and bus operations. Don't worry, it!s all very posh and you wouldn't know about the busses unless you wanted to go somewhere. Like locally to Suizenji Park or Kagoshima (beautiful ride - best by bus). Covered arcade and alleyways a few blocks away are amazing! What a surprise!

Wish they had coffee makers in the rooms instead of just a kettle and coffee tea bags (only 2 per day). Or how about at least coffee in the lobby? Guess Lawsons will do...

The location is fantastic. The Sakura Machi Mall is downstairs so we could access eateries, supermarket and shopping. The bus terminal is downstairs and we could easily take the bus to Aeon Mall Kumamoto (30min) and Amakusa island (2 hours). The staff are also very polite and helpful.

The toilet-bath-shower are a bit awkwardly integrated within a small space to maximise the space within the bedroom. We don’t need the bathtub. The tv is not mounted on the wall in front of the bed. Rather, it is at the further end side and so it’s uncomfortable or not meant for viewing from the bed. It could have been intelligently mounted higher, in front of the bed, using a bracket on the wall.

The location is very good and lots of stores, restaurants and a nice supermarket in the same building. It’s connected to the bus stations, so we don’t need to go outside the building to catch buses. Also it’s very close to the arcade. The room is so clean and we could see a beautiful Kumamoto Castle from our room. We will stay at this hotel again.

When we go out, we have to go to the lobby first and change an elevator, but it’s not a big deal.

Excellent location, nice modern decor and very clean. Its located inside the shopping centre. Can see the Kumamoto castle from our room. Hotel Parking was at a carpark opposite (different building) to the hotel with a discounted rate JPY1200, must remember the hotel entry is from level 2. It was nice short stroll to all the food and shopping. Will definitely stay again!

The only downside was the difficulty to find the hotel entry. There were not enough signs for the hotel entry and dragging the suitcase makes it a bit more challenging.

Rooms are clean spacious, very sleek design, very night view out of our room and restaurant. Staffs are very professional and speak very fluent English.

The access to the hotel is not that noticeable. Troublesome to take first elevators from ground floor to lvl 1, then walk 2 min to the hotel entrance to the second elevator which take you to the hotel lobby located on lvl 14, then you will need to take another elevator from 14 to you hotel floor between lvl 13-4. Very weird and not convenient

Breakfast was great! Enjoyed the items included especially the dango jiru and gobo salad!! Everyone enjoyed breakfast the most of all the meals in Kumamoto. The staff was great and the manager who greeted us at the door was super great and gave us the same seating area each morning. Great view and wonderful location. Thank you!

The rooms were a little small but it was fine for a few days.
