Everything was fine. The room was a typical Japanese hotel room, similar to many others that I have stayed in over the years. In other words, there's nothing all that special about the room, but nothing bad to report, either. :-) The location is pretty good, as the hotel is very centrally located and you can easily walk around the neighborhood. Also, there is plenty of parking available for a reasonable price in the immediate area if you don't want to pay for parking at the hotel. The price we paid for the room was very reasonable.

The room was rather small, but that was no surprise since the size of the room is clearly stated on the booking website. :-)

Two adults and two teenage grand children. Price was right. Room was a bit smaller than in the pictures, but perfectly adequate for sleeping in. The bathroom was great. All was clean. The breakfast was tops, we all really enjoyed the variety and ate until we were stuffed. The location is within walking distance of the Kumamoto Castle, our reason fro staying in Kumamoto. Parking was included in the hotel price. The hotel is near the Shimotori covered shopping street where we went for supper and to observe local life. It is close to the streetcar stop so no problem getting here from Kumamoto train station or from the Kumamoto bus terminal. I had stayed here many years ago for business, and forgot that I had until I saw the place. It is a modern hotel. I was delighted to stay here again and would stay in the future, too.

The room was a bit cramped for four sleeping, but it was workable. Two beds folded up Japanese style.

- Just wanted to highlight that for guests staying at the hotel and parking at the hotel carpark next to it, it will cost 1200 yen PER ENTRY. Cos we parked our car and then go out for dinner during our one night stay in the hotel before parking and resting for the night and we had to pay 2400 yen as the hotel receptionist highlighted it is a per entry parking. Therefore, for noting.

The room has two single beds and two tatami beds. The room is not that big. There is basically no space to walk around after all the luggages are opened. The location is consider good. We can see Shirakawa River from the window.

Parking lot - The car can’t leave until the next day’s check-out, and it costs 1,200 yen. As a result, our self-driving tourists can only park the car in the nearby paid parking lot, because the parking lot provided by the hotel is on a first-come, first-served.

The room rate was very good given the size and level of service. The front desk was very good about storing our bags before check-in and after check-out. The location was not too far from the Karashimachou tram stop (with a food court and supermarket in the basement of Sakuramachi near there). Nagoya Castle was within walking distance, but more than a short stroll.

The bathrooms had a very high step to get into, and a ledge to get out. If one isn't careful, one could stub one's toes. And a desk light was lacking.

Very good price in convenient location near central shopping arcades and less than 10mins walk to bus station. The hotel is located on a small street with very nice independent shops and cafes leading to the riverside. We were lucky to have rooms overlooking the river.

Overall we had really nice stay, although the rooms are quite small for 2 people, we stayed for 2 weeks and managed very well.

The room was a great size, the beds and pillows were comfortable, amenities were great, and I appreciated that it was a smart TV so we could use YouTube for a white noise video to help our child sleep. I also appreciated how clear the instructions were for other amenities and even how to turn the refrigerator on. They were also helpful when it came to finding parking. This is now our favorite hotel in Kumamoto!

Very good location, near the castle end main streets. Very clean, they give many accessories. It is very cheap.

Parking is to pay and when full, you have to find parking yourself. For 3 people they give room with 2 singe beds. On the picture it looked like one queen and one single. I did not read carefully enough. Because we are small we managed to squeeze.

Good sized room, convenient location (20 min walk to the castle; 5 min to the main shopping, entertainment district). Parking nearby (not free).

We paid 1200 yen for 24 hour parking, but when we checked out of our room early and decided to walk around for another hour (which we still had on our parking meter), the meter stopped, so we had to add more yen to leave. I wish the front desk staff had mentioned this when we were checking out.

The entrance was beautiful and its located close to the Town Centre. The room was clean, nicely decorated with all the little perks you usually would not find in other hotels ie room fresheners and shoe polish. The staff were all polite and friendly. I was given fresh towels, robes, slippers, and tea and green tea daily. Coffee machine is in the lobby, hot and fresh but I would have liked to have the option to have some milk with it, nevertheless, it was excellent for visitors especially.

I actually like everything but the bath was pretty high and deep, also the step up to the toilet room was high. It may not be much of a problem for others but I struggled with that due to my own personal issues. There's no parking on site but we were able to park briefly in front of the hotel for pick up and drop offs. There's no restaurant onside but there are local restaurants within reasonable walking distance. All in all, I would choose to visit this hotel again.
