The deluxe room with the little extra bit was a very good choice. It was nice to be able to keep my luggage by the bed and change there instead of having to go to the locker room floor. The luggage can be locked to the closet and the cupboard can be locked too. The onsen on site was great! There was multiple baths (hot, cold, outdoor) as well as mist sauna and stone slab bed. There was also a private shower. The lounge has free coffee and free alcohol and was divided in two sections. People seemed to naturally work out to be quiet in one section and more social in the other. I stayed for a week and I was very happy with the hotel.

12/10, way beyond my expectations! Free breakfast, free late night snack, all day caffeinated and soft drinks free, free alcoholic drinks at jight, lots of amenities provided, loungewear provided, towels provided. The capsules are big enough for tall guys with great privacy screens, and even include built in power cables to charge your electronics as well as outlets! No showers, but an excellent on-site sento/onsen including sauna and all amenities you need. Tattoo friendly. Very social. I've been to capsule hotels all over Japan. This is by far the best I've been to!

This felt like a fancy capsule hotel. The bed/capsule is a bit larger from other capsules I've slept in. It has ventilation, which is great cause capsules can feel a tad warm. The onsen/spa section was very clean, with so many products to choose for your hair and body. Of course you get other complimentary amenities like toothbrush, razors, pajamas, etc. I used the onsen daily, it soothes aching muscles. Note there's only 1 standup shower, and the communal showers. As for the lounge, there are drinks available all day, like pop, coffee, tea (note I didn't try any of the alcohol or late snacks). As for lockers, they fit a carry-on luggage and a couple of shopping bags. There's a separate area for large luggage. The hotel is also well located, quiet area but close to trains, buses, and shopping street. For the price location, and amenities is totally worth it.

The pillow was a bit too hard for my liking. Ps. I'd suggest to have make up remover in the powder room on the ladies floor. The one at the onsen is easy to miss, plus doesn't remove all makeup effectively.

If you're looking for something low cost and in central kyoto, this is the spot. Literally minutes from Nishiki market and walking distance to higashiyama ward/gion The shared facilities were a lot smaller than I anticipated but were well maintained. The staff were well informed and super helpful. I didn't have any problems navigating in English, so the process was very smooth. There's lots of storage options, so if you're bringing lots of luggage or have big luggage like did, there weren't any problems despite being a capsule hotel. I would suggest getting a premium capsule if you feel like you need your own space to organize souvenirs to bring home. There are locks in the premium capsule for your items, so you don't have to worry about things being stolen/lost. There's 2 artificial onsens, one inside and outside. Both were super great bonuses at the end of the day after walking 30k steps.

Expect it to be busy during peak hours (past 9pm) I didn't anticipate having to wait to use the lounge/showers at all, but since there are many people exploring kyoto now, everyone wants wind down after 9pm. The shower changing area is very small, although there are many lockers to store your clothes since the space is so small you sometimes have stand awkwardly as you wait for people to change. There's probably a dozen lockers available, but you can only fit 1 person in front of the lockers to change while the other people waits. Of course I understand kyoto is very small and building space is very limited.

Free drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) Free warm food (rice with sausage) and breakfast (japanese style) In the capsel u can connect your phone to the TV so U display movies or shows while U chill. Great spa area, the washing area (traditional hooker with choose) as all the amenities they offer (products for hair, face, body, teeth and clothes for the spa) area just great. U can just pamper yourself after a long day walking. There's 2 common areas and a smoking cabin.

The packing area is in a different level as the capsels. It can be a bit inconvenient but not a huge deal. I found the house sleepers within the toilet area way more comfortable than the ones for the rooms, as a tip to the hotel, maybe change them 🙂

The location was great, right next to one of the busiest Kyoto streets. The internal artificial onsen was also very good, with lots of seats to shower and a sauna. The reception guys were very nice and let me store my luggage before the check-in, and explained very thoroughly all the rules of the hotel. The luggage storage and sleep rooms are on different floors, but it didn't bother me. The capsule itself was very comfortable and being a deluxe one it also had a small closet and a table which I appreciated a lot. There was a sort of open bar in the common lobby during the evening and space to eat some food (either bought elsewhere or instant ramen bought on site)

My capsule was very close to the entrance door and some guests were being very noisy and there was lots of movement early in the morning or late at night. Too bad it was one of the last nights of business of this hotel, that is now closed

Time of travel: February 2024 Breakfast: Curry Chicken, rice and Miso soup. Free drinks. Didn't find tea. Location: Short walk distance from Karasuma station. That's also where the Pokemon Center Kyoto is. So awesome. Room: Capsule room. Comes with manual ventilator, charging cables of various kinds and free earplugs. Bath: Genderseparated Public Onsen. You go in naked and can either enjoy their 40 degree Celsius Onsen inside and open air or just wash yourself with a shower head inside and be done with it. Small tatoos are tolerated. Free amenities such as bath towel, tooth brush, hair dryer, night clothing, etc provided.

Breakfast choice was a little limited.

We chose out of curiosity to experience overnight stays in capsules, conditions better than in many average *** hotels. You could say that these are luxury capsules. The cost of accommodation for two people is approximately equal to the price of a good double room in a good location in *** hotel (the bedroom is bit smaller :). Two public rooms and a terrace with a view of the streets from above, where you can eat, drink or chat. Capsules spacious, well-equipped, in capsules there are lockers for documents. The price includes onsen, sauna, very decent breakfast, drinks available all the time. A very good choice for one or two nights, for travelers of all ages.

I do not recall any inconveniences worth mentioning

Wow! Just wow! I love this capsule hotel place at Kyoto! I highly recommend this place. They offer so much free amenities and stuff. I didn't need to bring anything as they provided so much stuff. They offer 24 hours free miso soup and free soft drinks. At breakfast time they offer free curry rice or rice with topping. They provided so much different shampoo, conditioner, body cream, face cream, toner, cleanser and I could go on with my list but it's too long. The service was so friendly, helpful and so nice. The bed was so comfortable and I could stay here all day and nice.

Nothing really as I was so happy with everything :)

The reception was nice.

I didn’t like how you were not showed where to go. After finishing checking in you were expecting to figure the rest out which was a bit nerve racking. I would suggest that reception give you a tour of the facilities to make you feel more at home. The capsules were very claustrophobic and so personally they were not for me, they were fine and good quality however and so may suit others. I had to leave the hotel early and they gave me a refund for the night I missed so was very grateful for their kindness. Onsen was nice, lockers handy, beds comfy. Overall the property is very good, but just not a fit for me :)
