Very well located hotel with very spacious rooms that are very nicely furnished. A very good breakfast, with Western and Asian ingredients. Very nice staff

The only thing missing was the spa - the hotel opened in September and we stayed there a few days after the opening. The spa will open in a month… we were a little disappointed as it was not written on a website that the spa is not yet available.

The breakfast selection was great The pool facilities were nice, especially the clothes spin drying machine for your costume or wet items The rooms are spacious, generous Comfortable beds Lobby & staff make you feel very welcome We travelled with two kids (4 & 3 years old) and felt very welcome The location is very central to most tourist locations and we found the nearest train station to be a perfect branch to get to all destinations

There's room for improvement in the breakfast service provided by staff to replenish items, or simple things like placing an order for a coffee

The room was spacious and offered all amenities one could hope for. The executive lounge was a nice space to relax, get recommendations and plan the next excursions. The central location of the hotel helped us to get the most out of our time in Kyoto. The staff was helpful, multilingual and had great food recommendations for us.

The breakfast was delicious and offered a nice balance of Japanese and Western choices. Unfortunately, it was overcrowded which led to longer waiting times to get a table, find cutlery, have the table cleared etc.

The Hotel was exceptional is everyway. A wonderfully and beautifully decorated room & hotel, ultra comfortable beds, great breakfasts, exceptional staff - the list goes on and on.

The only complaint I would have is that the non-paid internet isn't very good and needs to be much better compared to comparable hotels in the same class. I didn't try the paid internet however in this day and age you shouldn't have to pay for internet to get a fast speed connection.

The modern design of the hotel. The spacious room. The delicious croissant at the lobby bar. The very welcoming team who were very capable and professional during the peak season and made our stay truly worthwhile. The very friendly Concierge team who helped us navigate Kyoto during our very first visit. We would definitely be staying here again.

Loved everything.

The pool. Everything was brand new and high quality. The location. Being able to run/jog by the river.

There was some construction across the window. Only working hours so it was totally fine. The breakfast area is crowded and they were a bit overwhelmed when ordering coffee/tea outside of the buffet.

Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect for city site seeing, big choice of restaurants within a short walk and great local arcade and department store shopping. All staff were amazing and in particular we couldn't have done without Saori Unno to help us plan, dine and get around!

All else in the hotel was good except at breakfast time, there is always a long time waiting to be served/led to a table irregardless of timing or even there is ample availability of table. This area needs improvement.

Everything-great location, a lot of the staff spoke English. The breakfast was amazing. The room was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a a king deluxe city view.

Roof top bar closed early and was a bit pricey. Great view though.

I’ve stayed here on the first week of opening. Everything was great. The hotel interior is beautiful, the staff are so nice and the breakfast service was great. The location was ok, close to bus stop and the metro station.
