Excellent location (maybe just being in front of the station would be better), helpful staff. Breakfast mostly continental, abundant and variegated, not changing day to day tho. Room the usual Japanese size. Soft drinks always available and free 1-hour alcohol drinks every day were really great.

WiFi could be arranged better, basically the network name is the same everywhere but you just connect with different passwords on each floor, this means that if you connect in your room and go downstairs to lobby your phone would fail to connect and won't connect automatically next time you're in range. My girlfriend phone was throwing errors everytime and just refused to connect (after the first successful connection) because of this. Not a deal-breaking but still something that can be improved.

1. 10 minutes from Kyoto station by walking, I think it is quite okay for visitors who just arrive Kyoto. 2. Although bit far away from centre, but it is very quiet and clam community, the small river near hotel is so beautiful. Bus is convenient so I don't think bit far from centre is an issue. 3. Free cafe, nice staff, room is bigger and comfortable than other hotels. Even my room is front of elevator, still very quiet. Overall speaking, I feel it is really nice! I would get back to this hotel next time I visit Kyoto.

If really have yo say, you just need to take bus/ or walking for 10 minutes to popular area or get some food. Closest convenient store is like 5 minutes by walking. But it really isn't an issue unless you have elder people with you.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. We booked it specifically because we stayed in Kyoto halfway a 24 day trip and knew we would need to use a washer. This worked out perfectly, there was always 1 free when we needed it (although the dryer function is awful, you will need to dry your laundry 3 times). It was nice that you could relax in the lobby a bit with some drinks if you needed to.

This is very common in Japan in general, and Kyoto and Tokyo in specific, but the room was pretty small, and I, as 6'3" Dutchie, could not fit under the shower.

Room was nice, breakfast was good. There is a subway close to it that can take you to the most popular attractions so it depends on what you're looking for.

I had the displeasure to stay alongside a lot of Italian tourists who were making a lot of noise in the guest area, not the fault of the hotel tho Didn't find any Japanese people outside 1 of the workers

The staff were really friendly and kind. There was a girl on reception, Huang? She was so helpful and always smiling. All the other staff were very welcoming too. The breakfast was very nice, quite simple but in a really good way. The communal areas were all very nice and I got to talk to other travellers in the mornings at breakfast. They give you one hour of free drinks a night and you can choose from a variety. I really liked it, it was a fun hotel with lovely staff.

It wasn’t in a bad location but it was 15 minutes or so walk away from the station and other main areas. I used the laundry there but it didn’t dry my clothes very well. But these are both minor issues.

Everything in the hotel was excellent - the rooms were big enough, furniture was very comfortable and functional. The bathroom was great! Location was good but there is a bit of walking to the closest metro stations. There were bus stations close by. Staff was very helpful and polite. There was free water at all times and there is happy hour for alcohol but we did not make use of it. It was also possible to have breakfast. We would gladly stay there again.

A hotel is situated less than a 10-minute walk from the central train station and is well connected to historical sites. The staff is very helpful, and the room is relatively spacious. Breakfast is great with a big variety of food. Furthermore, you have an uncommon routine every day of one hour of free "all you can drink" between 4 and 9 PM. Soft drinks are free almost all the time (apart from at night). Great value for that price!!

There is no closet in the romm but it is a standard in Japan and Korea.

The room size for two single beds was great, appreciated all the amenities provided. The free drinks was a fantastic option and unique for a smaller hotel. Cocktail hour is a fun way to encourage guests to use the lobby.

Only having one complimentary house cleaning felt cheap, at least providing new towels daily and emptying bins should have been an option. Your buffet needs a larger variety, whilst I can understand your team may be smaller and you offer this service daily; for the price you ask I didn’t feel there was enough options within the different breakfast styles.

The hotel is very pleasant, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. It is conveniently located near the train station, although there are limited dining options in the immediate area. However, the hotel compensates for this with an in-house kitchen service available until 9 p.m., as well as a happy hour from 6 to 9 p.m. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would recommend it to other travelers.

Rooms facing the street can be quite noisy due to traffic throughout the night. It’s advisable to request a room on the quieter side of the hotel for a more restful stay

We loved our stay in Kyoto. The room was nice and spacious enough, which is a rarity in Japan. It was three of us sharing a room, so we really appreciated the space. Also the complimentary daily happy hour was a such a treat! We got one hour of free drinks everyday in the evening.

The location is not the best in Kyoto. During the day it was okay, we would walk a bit more to reach a subway station or to explore the city, however at night we had to get Uber everytime because the hotel was rather far from the restaurant/bar area.
