The room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location of the room was close to the central train station of Kyoto. We picked this room because it was convenient for us to be closer to the central station, for easy access to other places like Osaka, Nara and attractions around the Kyoto). The surrounding area was residential, with less tourists but please take this into account and respect its peacefulness. There are convenience stores close to the room. There were also detailed instructions for everything in the room, really helpful!!

Very well located hotel, at a walking distance from the Kyoto station and not too far from the more touristic area. The bedrooms are spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom for a very convenient price.

The accommodation gives more of a 'hostel vibe' rather than a hotel; there are lots of rules everywhere (no check in after 9pm, no luggage storage, no check out after 10am, do not turn off the bathroom ventilation, don't use the AC to hang your clothes... and so on). I imagine it is a consequence of having had to deal with disrespectful tourists in the past, but if you want to feel a little 'spoiled' and taken care of, then it might not be the vibe you are looking for.

There was free self-service laundry. It is close to a couple of good ramen restaurants, and there was a convenience store around the corner. Not too far from the kyoto station--about 15-18mins walk. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I appreciated it very much!

It was very much self-service. If you are staying longer, they won't clean your room for you. You change your sheets and clean your room. The dryers are very small and take a long time to dry the clothes as most of the washers don't have a spin dry function.

I had generally very good and peaceful stay, I liked the most that it was quiet. Room was comfortable and with all that I needed, shower and bath, everything clean. Bed wasn't very comfortable but ok. Internet was working well. There is laundry available at all times and it's free. The location is 15 min walk from train station but quite dead zone for restaurants.

When I arrived I was presented a huge book of rules that the receptionist was quickly explaining. I told him that it's very fast and I don't remember any information he said and he said oh you have problem with remembering. That wasn't nice welcoming. The bible of rules is in every room so I could take the whole time of my stay to study it, no need to bomb with information tired guests at the arrival.

This was a great place to stay in Kyoto, the amenities were amazing, there was free laundry, hairdryers, towels and a hairbrush! The rooms were very clean and the beds comfy! The staff were very friendly and the location was great - only about a 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station. For the price paid, this place is a great deal.

The only thing I would say was bad is that you have to check in before 9pm, they also don’t have anyone in reception until early afternoon, this made it very difficult for luggage transfer.

Slightly bigger than most cheap rooms.very well planned. Good comfortable beds free use of watching machine ! Area is ok ...not much restaurants around. But good bus connections.

Very very disappointed with the baggage storage situation. They will not do it before or after. This is a huge deal and very important for alot of people We wasted a couple of hours storing our bags and lockers and having to go back and get them and come all the way back again. And the most frustrating thing is there is no reason for this at all. They can easily easily store your luggage the cleaner is there all morning all day and then reception is open so there is always somebody there and they can find a place to put your bag and make your life 10 times easier. Also many rules with unnecessarily large fines. It's. Shame cause it's a great place otherwise :)

The location was about a 15 minute walk from the nearest subway station and about 10 minutes from the bus stop but the area was quiet which was nice and there's a convenience store nearby. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room, which was very convenient especially when you don't feel like going out for dinner. Overall it was value for money. It was a good place to crash at night while you spend your days going around Kyoto.

Maybe it's just my preference but I found the mattress to be too soft and a bit lumpy. I didn't get to sleep too well.

I love this place. The room is big. The bed is comfortable. Laundry is free. It is located in the middle of a Japanese residence neighborhood. The bus stop is a 6 minute walk. There are a lot of izakaya nearby. The supermarket is a 12 minute walk. The staff is very helpful. I met Sameera.who is from Sri Lanka and Jimmy, from Taiwan. They were great and very good guys.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and was very satisfied during this time. The hotel's location was close to the station and the center, so I could easily get to other places. My room was very comfortable and clean, it was very favorable to have appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, where I could easily prepare my food. There is also a laundry room where you can wash your clothes for free. In general, it was a place that I liked to stay for my short-term trip.

It is located close to the Kyoto station, the night live is a little further though (but you can still get there walking or taking a public transport). The room was private and quiet with a very comfortable bed. There was tea and coffeee and a kettle pot and a fridge and a microwave directly in the room. The receptionist were nice and communication very smooth.

The water in the shower was warm but wasn't that warm I would like it to be. But it was still alright.
