Our room was very cute. A small apartment with one bedroom with tatami floor, which could be closed with sliding doors (loved the experience of sleeping on tatami floor!). Small kitchen area (microwave, sink, fridge, and kitchen utensils) with table and chairs. Great bathroom with washing machine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Good location; less than 15 minutes’ walk from Kyoto train station + bus stop right in front of the hotel to go to Kyoto Old City Center.

The apartment is compact. It is a bit small for a family of 4 but we hardly spent time in it, so it worked out fine for us.

Great location right opposite the Toji temple, which I'd recommend as one to visit if you want to avoid the crowds that can detract from the others. The room we had in the hotel was fully equipped with a kitchenette and even washing machine. Better still, the bathroom doubled up as a drying room if you need to turn around your laundry overnight. The separate tatami room was good for dressing, watching TV and storage. Helpful, friendly staff and a who can point you to some great places to eat at reasonable prices. We loved our stay here.

Nothing to dislike for us, but be aware that the stairs is quite narrow if you have large or heavy luggage.

Across the road from Toji Temple, 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station, bus stop outside the door, 5 minutes from a shopping mall and a 24 hour store, the location was excellent. The code entry was so convenient due to our late night arrival. Though there is no seating area in the unit, there's a small lounge in the foyer. The washing machine and bathroom drying fan were such a bonus! In addition, there were umbrellas available if needed.

Staffing was a bit erratic over the weekend, but as we had no issues, this was really not a problem.

Beds were extra comfy, apartment was clean & quiet, loads of space - several rooms, washing machine & drying room were fabulous. Bus stop directly in front of the hotel. We were very happy with our choice to stay here.

Not immediately in the centre of Kyoto & some people may prefer to be closer to the sites & shops. You need to jump on a bus if you stay here. Fortunately the apartment is on several bus routes & walking distance to Kyoto station. Kyoto’s sites are very spread out so you will find it necessary to catch buses a lot regardless of where you stay.

Spacious apartment, not far from station, opposite the 5 Storied Pagoda. Kitchen and laundry amenities good, but bowls and plates were very small. Hooks on the wall to hang up your things. Rail in bathroom, and hangers - the bathroom had a drying facility for drying clothes, and we managed to get our laundry dried overnight. Laundry had its own separate area. Loved the little teapot and teacups. The Aeon Mall nearby has an excellent supermarket, and a bakery next to the supermarket, so we made good use of the kitchen.

The bath towels had not been laundered properly so they smelt bad. We got a new towel and that still smelt bad. The dish rack wasnt very good for draining crockery as you couldnt stand them up. Even though the saucepan was quite large, the bowls were tiny, and the plates saucer sized, so you couldnt get much food on them. The washing machine filter needed cleaning, so the musty smell permeated the room. The pillows were very low. There wasnt much bench space for putting things. But really, other than the towels, the other things werent that bad, and we enjoyed our stay.

Staff were helpful but we only saw them on the day of checking-in. There were no staff on duty for the rest of our stay but they replied to messages sent through booking.com. The bathroom doubled up as a drying room so all clothes dried overnight, including jeans.

Room was tight for 4 persons. Dining table was small so we had to take turns to have our breakfast. We tried walking here from Kyoto station with our luggage. Won't advise it - quite a distance and the pavements were not luggage friendly. Distance is fine without luggage. For stays of fewer than 5 days, the room will not be cleaned. It would be helpful to have a broom and pan in the room for guests to clean up on their own during those few days.

Quiet area in Kyoto, just across the Toji Temple. 15 min walk from Trainstation. You have a busstop near the Apartment. The apartment has enough space for 2 persons. Washingmaschine and drying funktion works well.

We had only futons on tatami mats, no bed. So the undersite of the futon was full with hairs from previous guests.

The place was just like what I imagine and saw in J drama or Anime or Japan Variety show. The apartment is quite spacious for us. We can open our lugggae easily. The facility is superb, especially for us as a muslim traveller, we can cook our own breakfast or dinner. The staff was very helpful. The bus stop and Toji temple is just in front of the property.

Fantastic location right next to the beautiful 5 storey pagoda. Very big space for a Japanese hotel room. The extra living space was great. My son lived sleeping on the futon on the floor.

Perhaps the futon might be a little uncomfortable for a grown adult? We had to double up for my 11 year old. Small quibble though as the other beds were very comfortable

The location is very nice. Not far from Kyoto station and just opposite of world heritage: Toji temple. The bus to central area is very near. We traveled to Nara by Kintetsu, and also the Kintetsu Station is within walking distance.Very convenient! Washing machine is equipped and in the shower room, they have drying facility. Toilet and shower are separated. Compared with business hotel, they are spacious.

Not really. There is no supermarket nearby. The convenience store is 6 mins by walking and there is not so many options. Better to buy something at Kyoto Station if you want to use the kitchen facility.
