The check-in service is clear and it provided clear guideline on how to go into the house. The driver will make sure that you can successfully go into the house before leaving. There is also a guide provided within the house so that you are clear about eco arrangement and how to use equipment (even I don't use them). The house is quite convenient, you can walk to train station and Aeon mall in 10-15 minutes.

The information showed in the Booking.com is not clearly enough. The information mentioned that "tax included" while you are required to pay accommodation tax during check-in. This is quite confusing.

It is a traditional house, a very special experience for us. Also, the service is super! The driver took us to the house and also helped us to take care of the luggage. Thx a lot for hosting.

Might be a little bit too small and you need to reorganize the room when you want to go to bed. But not bad. It's a very special experience to understand how people lived there in ancient times.

We picked up the keys in a hotel, not far from Kyoto train station. The reception sent detailed information on the process beforehand and organised a pre-paid taxi to bring us to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped and quite spacious for Japanese standards. We highly appreciated the availability of a washing machine. The immediate environment of the apartment is very quiet without shops or restaurants, but Tokyo station is only a 10 minutes walk with all facilities and transport options.

The reception does not provide luggage transport facility (highly recommended for use in Japan), but it can receive luggage and can refer to a company nearby.

We loved the location and beautiful layout of the appartment. Very well designed and not tired at all. The various lighting options made the main room very cozy in the evening. The little garden added a very relaxing feeling. Bathroom was so clean and modern.

Everything is great and super clean. Location is superb, nearby local shops and Kyoto Station.

Futon beds are very thin, unlike in the pictures. Could be thicker to provide more cushioning.

Near the station Aeon mall is near Clean Great amenities helpful staff English ok for foreigners could checkin early. we arrived kyoto in the morning.

It was confusing for the first timers. staff should explain to turn on the key scanner before scanning the key card. had to call the staff to know how to open the door. That button was really small it was really difficult to press it. The central heating system broke in the morning. had to extend the stay by 1 hour so that we could take bath in hot water before checkout.

It was relatively close to Kyoto Station and bus stops, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The accommodation itself was very spacious and came with great facilities.

The futon was not enough to comfortably sleep on. You cannot sleep on your side.

Clean and traditional experience

Location is weird, check in is insane (you need to go to another place to checkin), way too small. The place poorly accommodate 3 people, one futon was overlapping the other.
