Great location fairly close to Kyoto station. We got the larger double bed room on the 5th floor which has tons of room for two of us. Having our own washer was great even if we needed to air dry. If that is too slow the dryers worked great down stairs. Yamato transport was able to forward our luggage to the property which was fantastic. Family Mart really close lol. Overall, they had very clear expectations for staying in the room, and a binder with instructions on how to use everything. Still getting used to beds in Japan, but would highly recommend.

Room stayed really humid if the ac wasn't running.

Room was in good condition and close to the Family Mart and the station.

I was led to believe I may be able to check in early which wasn't the case. In fact there was no chance of this happening since staff are not on site till 2pm in the afternoon and I got there at 12pm which was also after delaying my travel.to accommodate the check in. I was asked to leave my luggage using those wire locks which are worn out and can be easily pulled apart. Yes I tried all of them. This meant I could not leave my luggage there as discussed previously with phone/email staff before check in. Had to wait for staff to arrive and could not even leave to have a meal until check in. Apart from this everything else was well done.

Location close to train station of using base for day trips. We had room with couch and chairs which was spacious and washing machine. Facility had free washing machines/dryers on first floor. Umbrellas provided. Plenty of storage room. Free detergent for washer. Small kitchen in room and shared kitchen in lobby.

Smelly/musty odor in rooms. Improved with opening slider for some fresh air. Believe odor came from with shower area. No breakfast but a lawson and 7eleven nearby. Limited interaction with staff.

A great place to stay, especially if you are a family. Large rooms, comfy beds and amenities. Check-in was a breeze and super helpful. Free wi-fi, full kitchen and laundry on the ground floor was so handy for the travelling family. Free washer and drier was unexpected and very welcome. Staff were really helpful and did everything they could to help out. Locations was also excellent. About 5 min from the station and convenience stores (don't miss the Family Mart which is on the corner just past the hotel).

Luggage storage - We tried real hard to get them to work but the locks on the cables in the luggage storage seem to be broken so we needed to take out bags back to the station for lockers.

Great location under ten minutes' walk from the station, but nice and quiet. Washing machine and kitchenette in our room and also washers and dryers downstairs, and a nice common area with kitchen and lounge. Luggage storage before and after stay.

We felt that the Japanese quad room was too small for the amount of furniture. There wasn't little space for all the chairs and tables once the sofa bed and futon were laid out. We would have preferred the option of just having beds in a kitchenette style room for 4. It also wasn't much fun having to tetris all the furniture and make up beds after a long day of travelling. A drying bathroom would also be a great addition.

1. Our given room was not cleaned even though they gave us the card key already (we came after the check-in timing). But staff managed to give us another room within 15mins. Good service recovery. 2. Dishwash soap which had a bleach smell. 3. Will be better if on-site staff can understand English.

The check in process is fast and with a helpful staff at reception. She able to speck little english and allow me to early check in without charges when I arrive the hotel 1.45pm (Subject room availability). The room size is small but it able to fit for 4 of us and have a good walk way. The TV come with Netflixx so you can enjoy some movie. The bathroom come bathtub. The water heater supply a constant hot water. Wifi signal is stable and good speed. The location is very near to Kyoto station by 8 to 10 minutes walk. Nearby is a lot restaurant and convenient store. There is a luggage storeroom with passcode to keep your luggage if you need it. There will be a cooking place and rest place at the lobby entrance side and washing machine area a ground floor.

The luggage store rom lock is useless as it just act as a display, cannot lock at all. Luckily our belonging is safe. Your booking had charged with cleaning fees and tax but no room cleaning during your stay and you will need to pay as separate city tax 200yen per person per night.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at RESI Stay Heart. The hotel is very nice, clean and modern and provided all the amenities for our party of 5 adults. The room we stayed in was very spacious for Japanese hotel room standards - it was designed more like a studio apartment. It included a small kitchenette and a washer/dryer, plus a few household items that made you feel like you were renting your own apartment in the heart of Kyoto. The wifi worked great, the room was supplied with a dehumidifier (which helped when we did laundry) and there was an onsite laundromat if we needed more. We all slept comfortably and had enough space to spread out/ have our luggage everywhere (5 carry-ons, 3 backpacks). The bathroom was also pretty large with a vanity that allowed for 3 of us girls to get ready at the same time. I am very much a bougie traveler and this place was very clean and put together. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquires too. I really liked the flexibility to move around freely. My biggest plus is that the hotel worked with us for late check-in as we would be arriving after the front desk closed. They made it super easy for me to have our keys and room ready for when we arrived! Check-out was super easy as well. I love a hassle free stay. In addition, the location is perfect. Just a 7min walk from Kyoto station with plenty of food (Japanese and western)/drink/shopping options all near by. It was also really easy for our Ubers to collect us and drop us off.

Nothing we disliked.

RESI STAY Heart is a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station and just a 3-5 minute walk from the reception office. The lobby was a great place to have breakfast in the morning, as it had access to a microwave, stovetop, sink, utensils, etc.. I used the laundry room once with no issue. The view of the Buddhist temple from our room was magical.

The room was a bit humid upon arrival. While it was impeccably clean, the humidity gave it a bit of an unusual smell (this issue was quickly resolved once we got the AC running). The bed and pillows were a bit too firm for my liking as well, but nothing unmanageable.

- Great location, walking distance to JR Kyoto Station (about 5 to 7 minute walk) - Room was clean and had sufficient space for 4 pax - Good amenities within the room, had an induction hob, and complete cookware in the room

- Had requested for a baby cot at the point of booking, however, I was only informed after I checked-in that I had to pay and extra fee (~11000 Yen) to obtain a cot which would only arrive a few days later. The alternative provided was a bed guard/railing, which could not fully cater to my baby's needs. This could have been better communicated at the point of booking.
