I like the location as it was just a few minutes walk to Nagoya JR station. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and combinis as well. I ended up staying 5 nights as I extended my stay in Nagoya. My room was very clean and they give you new fresh towels everyday. Room cleaning is every third day. Bed was super comfortable, I slept well every night. I like that my room has a view of Nagoya station and at night I sat by the window watching lights and shinkansen passing by. I will definitely stay here again. Nagoya can be a base if you like to go to Shirakawago, hiking the Nakasendo trail or day trips to Kyoto or Osaka and Nara. Thank you APA hotel Nagoya, I had a really nice time staying at your hotel.

The man came to the lift to go down to Onsen with his yukata only, that was weired and rude, and not so modest.

We stayed there for two nights, as we were visiting Ghibli Park one day. This hotel is walking distance from the train station and the bus station that takes you straight to the park. That, for us, made the stay worth it. Throughout our Japanese trip, we stayed at multiple APAs, and this was the largest room we encountered. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not that many negatives, but it is next to another APA hotel and, unlike in Tokyo where they all have some kind of distinctive part of the name to differentiate between them, this ones did not. The breakfast options are quite limited compared to other APAs we stayed at.

The location of the hotel is excellent - just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Central Station. There are plenty of shopping malls and smaller stores nearby, and it’s also not too far from Nagoya Castle. Breakfast was good, though most of the dishes are traditional Japanese style, so keep that in mind.

The room is quite small, but I believe this is a common feature of hotels in Japan. Also, note that you need to place a special sticker on the door if you want the room to be cleaned.

We visited Nagoya, Japan during early spring, which mean the temperature was still pretty cold. I soaked in the hot bath every night during our stay! You can see the hot bath status (crowded or not) from the in-room TV, too! Location-vise, the APA hotel Nagoya Ekimae is located around 10min walk from Nagoya Station (for JR Shinkansen) and 15-20min walk from the Meitetsu Bus Station (for express buses going to Gifu or other main cities). If you feel hungry, there are a lot of eateries around the hotel. 5 min walk, you will reach the underground near Nagoya Station, which has a lot of restaurants!

As expected, the room is rather small. We managed to open 1 small cabin size and 1 medium size luggage in the room. Luckily we did not bring any large size luggage this time!

We stayed one night at APA Hotel in Nagoya as a stop between Tokyo and Kyoto, mainly to visit Ghibli Park. It was a great choice and incredibly affordable, too. The hotel's location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, making it ideal for travelers. The highlight of our stay was definitely the onsen (indoor and open air options). It was clean, relaxing, and a real treat after a day of travel. While the room was smaller compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan, the space felt functional and comfortable. The room has under-bed storage for luggage, a two-person bed, a desk and chair, and a cozy bathroom stocked with plenty of amenities.

I honestly have no complaints about our stay — only that I wish we had more time to enjoy it. Highly recommend for short stays or stopovers in Nagoya!

These APA hotels are great. Excellent value for money, easy to access locations and great little rooms. They provide all the toiletries you require, have a big screen TV if you want to watch something, a comforre clean, well lit and comfortable. They are quite small rooms which is fine for one person, 2 will be a squeeze, but still comfortable enough. Tea, coffee, kettle, fridge. At this location they had a fully digital checkin system which came with an English option if required and the staff spoke English.

They control the heating centrally so the rooms can be a little cold when travelling in winter and there are no extra blankets in the rooms. I suppose you could ask at reception for an exrta, but i wasn't cold enough to worry about doing so.

They really do try and make traveling a little easier by anticipating the travelers needs. Definitely the most comfortable beds we've had and we've tried all the major brands that you find around JR stations. Plenty of hangers Slide your bags under the bed for added space Reminder to check out on time thru tv notice Late check out activated on the tv at reasonable rates Ice/ Vending machines Microwave for late night sensible Onsens (where available) Great location near train connections Clothes refresher spray Etc ....

I like everything from this hotel, the location is already exceptional next to Nagoya central train station, the spa in it has everything that you need, they have vending machines around and the treatment of the staff was excellent and helpful since the very beginning. The best hotel I have stayed in Japan so far.

Nothing, everything was great, maybe would add a bit of more regular cleaning service for your room but nothing relevant

Price is amazing for the convenient location. Check in and luggage handling was really easy and they are very accommodating, we needed to drop off luggage before our check in time and it was no problem at all. Also they kept our luggage after our checkout time, for free. Onsen is included and was really nice. Many thoughtful amenities besides. Many very good traditional Japanese restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was decent but not included. It was a little pricey.

I had a great stay at APA Hotel Nagoya Ekimae. The management was efficient, and as part of the APA chain, it offered consistent quality. The public bath was a nice feature, and the hotel was very clean. I also appreciated the smart check-in process and convenient luggage services, which made everything hassle-free.

However, despite being close to Nagoya Station, the hotel is on the opposite side of most attractions, so it was a bit of a walk to get to the station and other popular spots. It's okay if you are willing to take taxis, otherwise coming back late is a hassle.
