I liked the variety of Japanese and western food. The eggs were runny but that’s how they are made in Japan. Pastries were very good. Very good coffee.

Location is excellent within walking distance to bus, train station and subway is right below the building. Room are well quite big as well as bed compared to other though it is a bit expensive , free coffee ,tea and water also well equipped with plug in socket for charging.

Reception staff are unfriendly as they wants everyone to come back at 3pm to do the check in , by the time the crowd is there and they should be more flexible about the check time to avoid the queuing.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations! It is in a great location for all your transportation needs. The lobby is located on the 15th floor which means your room is somewhere above that. Our superior twin room was on the 23rd floor and was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There were lots of amenities that we made good use of. We appreciated the size of the room that left space for us to easily move around in as well as keep our luggage off to the side. The window view was nice. The buffet breakfast at this hotel is one of the best we've had! Not only was the variety of food choices amazing, but the barista style hand crafted coffee was awesome! A word of caution - the hotel is located above the train station and you can hear the trains at night (freight trains pass through here), but the hotel did let us know ahead of time. It didn't bother us much as we were exhausted from sightseeing and fell asleep almost immediately. If we go to Nagoya again, we would definitely stay here!

Well maintained, clean, good staff, front desk speaks English fluently, within about 6 minutes walk to subway/train/shinkansen.

The multiple elevators with long walk down to train station/subway means it’s not quite as convenient as you might think or expect at first, but once you learn the routes can probably get their within 6 minute walk. Still convenient. Nagoya station and the surrounding stations are very busy during peak hours -not the hotels fault. Would have been nice to have washing machines on one of the floors rather than sending Laundry away -but they are kind of aiming at 4 1/2 star with small rooms and no room service. Plenty of restaurants a few minutes walk down on floors 12&13 tho.

Good size room with comfortable bed, though pillows a little firm. Had high floor, as requested. Good size bathroom, with lots of storage space. Excellent shower and lovely deep, comfortable bath. Plenty of space for luggage. Location next to the main station was perfect for our 3 night stay as we did excursions by train on both the full days we were there, so easy to get tickets and get there and back from the hotel. Large number of eating options on floors 12 and 13 of the Gate tower, as well as in the station building itself.

More (softer) pillow options would have made the room experience even better

The location of this hotel is impeccable. It is sitting directly adjacent to the Nagoya Station and the subway station. You can also go downstairs to some decent restaurants, Starbucks, UNIQLO, GU, and Bic Camera without leaving the building. The description of the room (Superior Twin Room-Non-Smoking, 28 sq meters) is spot on. I appreciate that the hotel staff put some posters of recent Nagoya events in front of the elevators. I didn't catch some interesting things before I came to Japan. Please keep up the good work.

Not much. I'd hope the hotel has a big public bath, but that is rare in Nagoya, especially for a hotel located at the top of the building.
