This is a fantastic hotel very close to the station. The room was quite spacious compared to others we had in Japan, and extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the elevator requires your room keycard to work and stops at the reception on the 2nd floor so they can keep an eye on things, it felt very safe. There was a water fountain beside the elevator to refill bottles, and you can pick up toiletries from the lobby.

I can't think of anything I didn't like, we were more than happy with our stay and would definitely use this hotel again for future visits to Nagoya.

After a long day of traveling to Nagoya, I put my bags down and took a shower in the room the assigned me to. When I stopped the water I noticed loud noises from construction nearby. I asked the frontdesk until what time they were working. And the staff immediately offered a different room on the other side of the building. Which I accepted gratefully. Probably the nicest and coziest bed I’ve slept in during my trip. I loved the room. Spacious enough, good view and a window that could be opened for a bit of fresh air. 10/10 would recommend.

Close to Nagoya stn, staff were friendly and helpful.

Very hard mattress. Bed against window. Elevator “dinged” twice every tomes it stopped - it was that loud most deaf people at the end of hall could likely hear it - again, unnecessary as it “wakes you up”. Perhaps if someone from your exec management team or one of the propellor heads in marketing actually stayed there rather than the dribble they publish about all if the great world destinations they have - more people would enjoy Nagoya.

The breakfast was the highlight of this hotel! The location is very good and the rooms are stylish.

Japanese hotel rooms are typically quite small, which I don't mind and fully expect. However, there are a lot of extra bits (small table, ironing board, foot stool, etc that are in the room that could probably be requested by the front desk, but take up a lot of space in an already small room. When we arrived, we did some furniture rearranging so that we could bring our suitcases in and have room to walk a bit without bumping into things.

Location was excellent, nearby JR station (even with a large suitace, easy to walk). Staff at the reception was swift and detailed in rendering assistance. The room, compared to similar types in Japan, has a warm cofortable character. Good choice of materials, coupled with dimming option for some lights (to fine tune according to guest preference). Excellent insonorization. The bathroom had very well thought ergonomics, even in the shower/bath. Handy to provide also a LAN cable, to achieve better connection stability while working on laptop.

Having spent just one night, I did not manage to find any negative aspect.

Went to Nagoya just for the Ghibli Park, but the hotel was quite nice and comfortable. About a 5-10min walk from the station, it’s also close by to many restaurants and konbini’s. The room itself was fairly small but perfect for a solo traveller like myself. The bed was pretty comfy, sheets and towels were changed everyday. There were also free amenities by the lobby as well as a coin operated laundry machine.

There is no room to really open up your luggage except for the hallway leading into the room.

It was quite a walk from the Sakuradori entrance of Nagoya station and the Meitetsu Bus Center so please factor walking time if you are going to catch a train or a bus. Otherwise, the Unizo chain of hotels are my new favorite when staying in Japan. I stayed at the Ladies' only floor and they have a ladies lounge with additional amenities like a coffee machine, a reading/work area, a dedicated laundry area and the best of all - the massage chairs. Those feel like heaven after walking the whole day. There are a lot of outlets inside the room, as well as good space - I was able to open my XL luggage fully - with a little bit of maneuvering with the couch and table.

The area around the hotel has a lot of izakayas and tend to have a rowdy crowd at night

Convenient location (near to Nagoya Station). The room and the bathroom have sufficient height so that a person with 1.85m could take a shower without having problems. Also the bathtub is quite large. There's wired internet (via LAN cable) in the rooms and a cable is provided in the desk drawer. You get fresh towels, etc. every day (and they're really soft).

The elevator always stops at the 2F (probably to make sure that the staff can take a look at who's using it), which is a bit anoying because it wastes time. Operating he air conditioning / heating is a bit tricky when you're not able to read Kanji. The Room is a bit small if you have a large suitcase (IATA cabin size is ok, you can still open the bathroom door while your suitcase is open). You get fresh towels every day, even if you don't need them (not very ecological...)

Location is great as long as the correction pedx is crossed. I am referring to the crossing between JR station and Dai Nagoya building. I initially crossed near the Meitetsu and Kintetsu stations and it was almost a bad choice. Almost, because for this trip, I had relatively lighter stuff. It allowed me to go in and out of the underground walkway easier even if there were no escalators. By using the correct pedx, there is no need to go underground. Easy checkin and checkout.

A 5-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station, this hotel is perfect for travelers. The twin room fits two people with luggage comfortably. Toiletries, a hot/cold water dispenser on each floor, a vending machine on the 2nd floor, and a coin laundry make stays easy and convenient. Marriott members can enjoy early check-in. Lawson is right around the corner.
