the hotel is perfect, very close to Nagoya station. The rooms are (Japanese style) (very) small, but for a short stay in Nagoya perfect. Very comfortable, everything there. Restaurant and shops, convenient stores everywhere. You go here to see Nagoya and move on. Like we did; Shinkansen, sleep here, see the castle (really nice) and more and back on the train. Because it is so close to the station you can leave your lugage here, no need for lockers. The staff is more than hellpfull, but do not expect perfect English conversation.

Location is great- literally outside of exit 6 (unimall). Very close to station and all the shops and restaurants. There's a 24 hour Ichiran downstairs :) . They have all the toiletries, located in foyer, just help yourself to what you need from the cart. Also a coffee machine with real beans! Staff are friendly and speak good English! The lobby is a lovely place to just sit and relax. Rooms are a little small but that's typical Japan. Rooms are clean though. There's no cleaning until the 4th night (we left by the 3rd night), and they hang fresh towels, tea/coffee, water in a bag on your handle early every morning and you have to put your dirty towels in the bag and leave garbage outside. I don't mind this. Room is small, not much to clean anyway and I like the idea of no one coming in. There's no safe in here. Hotel is also quite affordable too, and well priced! One more thing, wifi is great here!

Windows small and can't see out so don't expect views. No cleaning until 4th night, see above comments. I didn't mind this though.

I picked Hotel Resol because of its location close to Nagoya Station, and in that, it did not disappoint! It was so convenient to be able to go down into the underground mall from just outside the hotel and get to trains and shopping without being exposed to the elements.

Was disappointed that Hotel Resol does not provide the beauty amenities that other hotels do - those little packets of cleanser, moisturizer etc. I want to travel light and women's lotions and potions take up a lot of space/weight! Honestly for this reason I won't choose Resol in the future.

We stayed four nights to attend the Suzuka Grand Prix and the location 5mins walk to the station was perfect. We were able to store our bags before check in and enjoyed the free coffee machine each morning. Ichiran ramen next door was also a huge positive after long days at Suzuka. The room was comfortable (just enough room to open two bags after shuffling the chair around) and the bathroom was clean. I was given some skincare as well which was a nice touch!

Hotel is interesting. Staff were very helpful and smiley. Amenities were good. Good Coffee. Available at the reception lounge. Lounge was good to work and relax with good open view.

Room is a little tight for your luggages..We managed just with a middle case, a carry on case and two backpacks. Tip. On arrival with luggages it is better to walk to hotel via street. Not advisable to use the walkway and exit U6&U8 via the huge Unimall connected to Nagoya JR station. No lifts on U6/U8 exits. Only alot of stairs.

This Hotel was a short walk from Nagoya Station and was very convenient. The decor of the hotel was very cool.. Urban chic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was free coffee in the lobby.

The hotel did not offer breakfast, but there were many restaurants nearby. The original room we book was extremely SMALL. ( and there was really no window!) We could not navigate it with our large bags, but, Luckily, they had a slightly larger room available and we were able to switch to it. It was much more comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

The lobby was great, with lots of books, free coffee and nice sofas to chill. The atmosphere was really great. Location very convenient very close to train station, near restaurants. The bedroom was small but very comfortable. I would recommend.

We had two beds in the room, and because the room was small they were right next to each other with a wall on one of the sides, which made it a bit uncomfortable for the person next to the wall. Other than that, it was ok.

Great location. Right near the station and bars and restaurants. It is beautifully executed, educational, and intriguing. Modern, alluring decor, wonderful staff. I loved the pj's! You could literally wish for nothing. There was free coffee on tap in the foyer, along with any toiletries for your stay. Loved the onsen too. I am a massive bath fan. I do all my emails from the bath, where I go to think and wash off the stink. I will definitely stay here again, thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant.

The room was a bit small but other than that I have no other complaints.

Highly recommend this hotel exceptional facilities and very accessible to train station, bus and walkable to malls and famous restaurants. Family mart is just beside the hotel. Ichiran famous ramen noodles are just beside the bldg. Train station just within the front area of the hotel. And if you booked a tour to Shirakawago meet up place is just 11minutes walk from the Hotel. My Family love the convenience we will definitely come back again, thank you so much Hotel Resol.

Small room and no extra beds

This hotel really surprised me. I booked it as a budget option and turned out to be better than I expected. They definitely deserve an additional star on booking. The lobby is great, the room is small, but clean and well equipped. The staff is lovely and its such a short walk to the main train station. The breakfast was the best part. The hotel has deal with a restaurant in the same building - its this delicious, Japanese breakfast. I stayed at mostly 4-5 star hotels throughout my 3 week trip - this was hands down the best breakfast I had during my trip!
