Comfortable, modern and spacious hotel and room in a central location a few minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The hotel sits conveniently at the border between Nara Park with its great temples, and the area of shops and restaurants around the train station. It sits besides a busy road, but with the windows closed this is no bother at all and our stay was quiet and relaxed. We recommend the breakfast, both the Japanese and the Western options are great. Staff were great, professional, very helpful and warm.

It is hard for us to find anything we didn't like. A minor thing: we had the 'Deluxe Twin' corner room with a promised view on the park, mountain and landmark views from the third floor, but honestly the view was underwhelming and mainly involved a view on the busy street. The room is bigger than 'cheaper' rooms, but if view is something you find particularly important this might be good to keep in mind.

The hotel is gorgeous, the room is extremely big and a fabulous sofa along the window let you enjoy the fantastic view while enjoying a cup of tea. The shower is great has a lot of space and the bathtub let you rest after a long day of walk. The personnel is very kind and always with a smile on their face. The location is top notch. A 5 min walk from train station and Nara park. Highly recommended

This is not my first stay and is one which I will always book when I go into Nara. I love the peace and quiet and appreciated the free room upgrade. The room is very comfortable and I love the breakfast. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I love the quiet of Nara once the crowd fades and this hotel gives the same vibes once you step in.

Nothing...wished that I could have stayed one more night but I was rushing around...

really lovely staff who greet you each time you leave and come in. this hotel is in the most perfect location as it only took a 5 minute walk across the road to see the deers!! pillows and beds were great.

the room would heat up very quickly after a shower as there was no fan to turn on within the bathroom which meant that we had to open the window to cool it down. walls were also a bit thin so we could hear banging and showers being used.

The decor, lighting options, sofa, earthy furniture in lobby. Staff were very helpful when it came to posting my bag to the airport.

If possible to make the products they put in the room (hairbrush, toothbrush, razor) more eco conscious that would be good. Was difficult that not much English was spoken for me personally.

Great facilities, hotel very modern and feels brand new. The staff was very kind and caring, great service. Location is perfect right next to the park.

Staff was very kind explaining, but we found the hotel policy regarding check-in time very rigid. Despite our room being ready and bags even taken to the room by hotel staff, we were denied access to the room at 2:15pm unless we pay a surcharge of 2000 yen (official check-in time was at 3pm). Everything else was perfect, just leaving this feedback for future consideration.

This is not my first stay and I love the location and the room design. I like that it is close to Kintetsu station and is a nice quiet boutique hotel. Love the breakfast and the facilities in the room.

booked this hotel for stay on New Year's Day. we were very thankful to be upgraded to the suite, which was beautiful and really large by Japan hotel rooms standards. it was so crowded but the room made it easy for us to just stay in. thank you!

Wonderfully appointed room that was super spacious and had a roomy bath. Probably one of the best rooms I have stayed in, in Japan. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious.

Weirdly small elevator. Can only fit 2-3 people at a time.

Location is perfect, just across the road from kintetsu nara station, deer park and temples are all walking distance. Elevator is able to detect the room level after tap. Coin laundry is convenient. Bath/shower is spacious.

No room aircon, only central heating, so can be hot at times.
