What a great place! The architecture and decor of the place was stunning! While farther away from downtown Osaka, this rental made visiting Katsuo Ji much easier. This turned out to be my favorite experience. The rental is very close to a train station, as well as a couple of convenience stores. The place was a great value for the amount of money we paid. We had the room that included a kitchen area. We had lots of room and places to put our things. I appreciated that a washing machine was available.

The beds were pretty firm, but not overly hard. I prefer a softer mattress, but appreciate that not everyone does. The stairs were very steep, something that I also know is typical in Japan, just not what I'm used to.

We spent 3 weeks in Japan and stayed at many hotels and rooms, all very nice. But, I have to say this was by far the best place we stayed at while in Japan. It is located right outside one of the entrances to Kansai University and the train station is steps away. The home is beautifully decorated and the serene atmosphere was relaxing. Our room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts gave us clear instructions on how everything worked and helpful information on the surrounding area. When returning to the area, this will be our first choice. Thank you to the wonderful hosts.

Very friendly owner - also provide guests useful information about surroundings while checking in process. Perfect location near a train station and lots of affordable eateries in the area. Clean in general. Comfortable bed. Mini fridge with mini freezer (some accomodations don’t offer this).

Hand wash basin in bathroom didn’t have warm water, which felt freezing in the morning when washing face. Everything else was good.

Everything was really perfect. From the contact before the arrival, with many useful information, till the end of the stay, with good advises on the departure hour. Regarding home and the room - it was mentioned many times that it is well-maintained and offers great experience. If you have some business at Kansai University, you cannot imagine better location. After busy day, you can enjoy nice restaurants nearby or kombinies, which are really close. What I like the most and what made me really happy, was the host (Masako and her husband), who are very open-minded people with Japanese kindness and approach to others. You can ask every question regarding your stay, and - if possible, everything will be perfectly organized. To sum-up: you will never regret if you need a room that will allow you feeling like home, even 10 000 km from home.

The thing I did not like... that I needed to leave on my departure day! This stay was really amazing, with care and support at every single thing. So - nothing to mention here.

For us, the location was perfect because we were visiting our son at Kansai University. Train station is around the corner and brought us everywhere we wanted to go. But we came back for dinner each night. So many good restaurants nearby! And shops. It was a village in the big city! People are so friendly, helpful and respectful. Did not want to leave… a big bonus is the beautiful designed building. It was treat to stay here. The beds are awesome!

Because it was December, it was a bit cold. But with the heater AND airconditioning you get your room in temperature in no time.

A cozy and comfortable place to stay in the city, that offered outdoor space, well appointed kitchen and was spotlessly clean. Our host was very easy to communicate with and also respectful of our privacy. We plan to stay again here next visit!

The owners explain everything you need, they are very helpful. The room was big for Japanese standards. Excellent location- only few steps from university, train station, small shops and restaurants. Spotless clean. And if you are passionate about architecture, you will just love the house ! We were happy with our choice to stay here.

The shower turned off randomly at one point and wouldn’t turn back on, but could have been my mistake operating the shower.
