Great location, right outside the station and has a covered walkway (it’s really great, especially in this rainy season). Though the hotel is kind of old, it’s been kept well and very clean. We liked the room layout a lot. Compared to other hotels nearby with similar room size, we liked this one best. We had a corner room with wonderful view. There were also windows next to the elevator and in the laundry room. So, we kind of had 360 degrees view of the whole area. The airport shuttle bus was in operation too.

Mainly the fact that it’s old, so it does show in some areas. For example, the bathroom felt a little dark and it happened that the bidet in our room did not work. I think upgrading some of the furnitures and changing bathroom lighting would be nice. The main beds were big and stable, but the extra beds dipped more and weren’t as stable. We need more power plugs too, especially near the desk or next to the beds. Other than that, if you can accept that this is an old hotel, everything else is fine as is.

Fast and efficient check in (less than 5 minutes) and check out (less than 3 minutes). Efficient shuttle bus service. Comfortable and quiet room with ocean view. Rapid lift up to more than 50 floors. Welcoming restaurant staff. Close to Kansai airport (15 minutes to Terminal 1) and less than 5 minutes of walk from the closest train station with connecting pathway. Lawson convenient store and Trial shopping mall (both open 24/7). Air humidifier in the room in a plus.

Toilet seat should be heated as a normal standard in Japan. Moldy odor in bathroom must be cleansed. Auto coffee machine should be made available in hotel premises as the coffee shop in 1st floor close too soon for evening guests.

room was very big and spacious, views were amazing, breakfast spread was good with a lot of variety and generally all quite tasty. location was good too, since there is rinku town right opposite to do more shopping at the outlet. a lot of food options at rinku town, though the walk from the hotel to the town was longer than i expected. convenient stopover before catching your flight for last-minute shopping.

tv was your old traditional tv connected only to satellite channels, would have liked to have a more modern tv where i can either screencast or use apps like netflix and youtube

Even though the airport was just a station away, the hotel provided airport shuttle which is very convenient. The room was also really spacious compared to other hotels that I've been in, though it was a twin room. I think they didn't have single rooms which would have been better for a tight budget.

The way to get to the hotel was unclear. In English it's called star gate hotel, but when arriving at the station, there were about 5 hotels in the area and the one which says star gate is called sis Stargate and that was very confusing. That and apparently the hotel shares the same location as another one. When I was in the queue, another person kept claiming that they have booked a reservation but the receptionist couldn't find their records. Upon checking their booking, apparently they had booked the hotel next door, which was only separated but a lobby. I think when people arrive at the hotel, they are tired and just want to rest, so having unclear signs and confusing reception desks is a minus point.

Great location no doubt. The view from our Room at 50th floor was incredible.

- Asked for assistance on day of checkout for a luggage trolley to our room, a female staff came without a word, with an angry face expression towards us and our child, and literally stomped her way with the trolley and luggages, from our room to the concierge. Mind you. We wanted to push the trolley ourselves. Very unprofessional and unethical for someone who works at such an establishment, she wasn’t wearing a name tag either. Perhaps the reason why she thought it was okay to behave that way. - The room had a lingering stench of cigarettes.

Just one train stop from KIX and handy for us transiting overnight. Our standard room is huge and being on the 42nd floor, has spectacular views. There’s a small guest kitchen/dining area on the 30th floor to heat up meals if needed. The reception staff are extremely polite and accommodating. They helped with navigation and kept our luggages securely after check out as our flight was in the late afternoon.

Although adjacent to the train station, it was slightly confusing to locate the main reception. The rooms are outdated but good , spacious and clean for the price. Be prepared for whooshing and vibration from passing trains. It won’t be ideal for light sleepers which we’re not.

It is just one station from Kansai airport. Within the room we stay, it is comfortable enough for 3 people that can open all our luggage at the same time. The room is clean, facilities are enough, amenities are good. Bath tube is big to lay down and relax from our long flight. The beds are comfy and sheets are clean. Breakfast is good with the great view on 54th floor. The location is quiet match our expectation, we can walk to supermarket nearby at the evening and we can take a walk to garden in the morning. We can easily roll our big luggage from Rinku station to the hotel, the path is almost flat.

The extra bed is a sofa bed so it is not comfortable enough for my son.

As an American, this hotel met our expectations and then some after staying at a few Airbnb's in Japan. The hotel had toiletries that went above and beyond, comfortable beds as well as having the room temperature being nice. It was winter and the last few places we stayed were cold. The staff was very friendly and they were able to get us a taxi for the next morning very early (we needed one at 0445 am) to get us to the airport. Taxi was there waiting for us. The showers were perfect. The view was incredible from the 34th floor facing the bay area as well as the view of Osaka. It was also conveniently located near a shopping area with a large area for eating. Short distance walk.

The hotel is in an exceptional location, basically attached to the side of the train terminal so you don't have to go anywhere, direct access to the shopping precinct next door and restaurants. We were on the 41st floor and the view was absolutely amazing, we booked an extra night so that we could stay right up to the last minute, nap, shower and pack before training across to the airport for our 10pm flight. The hotel has a beautiful foyer and elevators. The rooms are massive so plenty of room to spread luggage out. They kindly allowed us to check in a smidge early as we had a 3 month old baby who was making it known he wanted a nap, so they let us in our room early to be able to settle him.

The rooms are certainly outdated but that wasn't a problem, just would be great for an update. There really needs more signage or instructions on the site to find the hotel as it is hard to find at first even though it is literally under your nose.

My son and I stayed at this hotel for just one night. We originally booked a superior twin room but were fortunate to be upgraded to a spacious deluxe corner room with two double beds, a large closet area, and a dressing table with a mirror. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful when I inquired about the airport shuttle service. The room was exceptionally large, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the stunning, breathtaking views. The location was very convenient, being just a short walk from Rinku Station and Rinku Premium Outlet. Additionally, there were several convenience stores and drugstores nearby.
