The room had a private bathroom

The bed gave me bruising all over my arms and legs, I haven't had bruising in about 2 years since I last got hit my a car on a bicycle 😂 The laundry doesn't dry very well always leaving a bad smell and wet after 3 hours. Two machines scheduled by the front desk, you get one at a time so unless you're comfortable asking the front desk to use the machine a lot to do several small or tiny cycles you're better off paying a Laundromat.

The breakfast was excellant. The location pretty good, as it was very close to the covered malls network. The Wifi was great. The staff friendly, diligent and helpful

language was a problem, in as much as translation services from google translate or such was relied upon; a bilingual staff was not available. Also in this particular hotel of the chain, the mattress and pillows were hard for a westerner to adjust to. I ended up buying a yoga matt to relieve the hardness of the mattress. I can understand that this is probably prefered by Japanese clientel.

room too hot if you don’t use the air con, broken toilet ( toilet seat was broken). just one pillow in the room when the booking was for 2 people, but the receptionist came to our room after we asked for a 2nd one, so he fixed the issue in a couple of minutes. old style room, someone might like it, someone might not. we did the laundry, washing machine was okay, dryer was not working. we did it twice and the clothes were still super wet, good that it was for free or I wouldn’t have paid for that service. people making noise all night, coming out and in of the lift (our room was just in front of that) and talking/ shouting in the corridor

The location was ok, it is not very close to the station, but the neighborhood it is in looks nice. Also, it's not very far from the main shopping strip, many shops, and the hotel is located right next to a 7/11 convenience store. For the most part we stayed one night, and it got the job done.

I can only assume that this hotel is a bit on the older end, the air con buttons on the bedside table were the low, medium, high only options. So you can't control exact temp, nor can you tell if the air con is working sometimes with this style of air conditioning. This one seemed to work less strongly than other ones I've seen, but it kinda worked in the end. Also, not ideal, but my friend did find a bug on her duvet (looked like just a small ant which is harmless, but not ideal). If you are staying with another person on the same bed, the bed was very small, you can barely turn over without bumping into whoever you are sharing the bed with.

The bed was terrible. it was a bed good for one only. Wife and I had to sleep shoulder to shoulder without any room to turn. The bed was also hard, no cushioning, we could feel the springs of the bed.
