The location is great, so was the room and the staff. We particularly would like to commend front desk staff Tony. We had inadvertently reserved a smoking room, but Tony worked with his supervisor and came up with a great solution that saved the day. Thank you. Other staff were wonderful too, and many of them spoke English (beyond the call of duty, but appreciated). We appreciated the "I speak English" tag staff members wore -- but would like to note that it was written in Japanese :).

This is not about the hotel, but rather about Booking.com's website: It'd be great if Booking.com shows "you are about to book a smoking room. Are you sure?" in flashing red, so even distracted travelers like us could realize we are about to reserve a smoking room by mistake :).

I think the hotel was recently renovated, the room and other facilities were new and clean. Our room had big wide windows, and it was very clean. Aside from the usual hair dryer, our room also had a curling iron and straightening flat iron. The room also had a trouser press. The bathroom is bigger than what you normally find in typical Japanese hotels. The hotel is also located in the main shopping district of Sendai, so it had a lot of shops and restaurants around it. A subway station was located 5-10 minute away.

Very clean and reasonably comfortable, with plenty of amenities and all the necessities you expect. The staff members are friendly and helpful. Close to a shopping district and some restaurants. The breakfast was very decent, delicious even. The introduction of ReFa beauty products is a nice touch if not a game changer.

Though the hotel was kind enough to accommodate our family of three (2 adults with an 11yo boy) the room we were assigned was smaller than expected. Parking could be a bit of a challenge especially if you’re not familiar with the area. The lobby lounge area is nice and offers complimentary coffee, but not exactly practical nor relaxing enough for guests to use. The breakfast restaurant is actually a bar at night, so it’s a bit crammed and not having enough tables for families especially during morning rush. The variety of food could be better but I suppose it is limited to the available space.

The hotel is nearby to all eateries and shopping. The hotel fits reasonably for 4 people as i was with my family of two kids. New and comfortable beds and excellent shower! The hotel is around 15 mins walk to Sendai station , if you baggage you can either take the cab or you could walk . walk is easy as it has covered walking street from the station to the hotel.

i didn’t take breakfast as I saw that the breakfast place will be at the Irish pub. so i skip having breakfast at the hotel. but i saw the price is only 1900 Yen.

My room was smoking double since non smoking room was out of order when I reserved. I understand there was no non smoking room availabe when I checked in. A helpful front desk staff awared of this, he proactively suggested to arrange a extra cleaning service to remove the smell of smoking by using a specialised machine in the next day. Appreciated for his arrangemnt. Seperate bags are provided for new towels and used towels.

I had a wonderful stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Hachinohe City. The room was exceptionally clean and cozy, making for a comfortable stay. The lobby offers complimentary high-quality coffee, tea, and various sanitary items, which I found very convenient. This hotel is ideal for both business and private trips, providing functional and comfortable accommodations. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were of high quality. I consistently choose Daiwa Roynet Hotels, even when traveling to other prefectures. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with a picturesque lobby. There’s a Lawsons and a sports pub on ground floor. Very close to shopping district and rooms are fairly large for Japanese rooms. Bathroom and tub are great. Communication through booking app was superb

Price hike on weekends, especially if events are in the area, but that’s only a matter of timing

Very friendly staff, perfect location. Quite nice breakfast served at the Irish pub downstairs. Lawson minimarket also downstares, allways open.

One of two elevators was broken, the otherone really busy at times. Some permanent stains in the carpet of our room, and maybe cleaning could be improved a bit

Location was perfect for tourists, right in the middle of everything. Room has good block out curtains that kept light out in the morning for a good sleep.

However, this location is a little further away from the station, about a 15 minutes walk and can be a bit difficult with luggage.

The hotel is modern and the room was nice. Great location. My only reservation was that when we arrived during the evening the parking for the hotel was full and we were redirected to other parking further up the street for which we had to pay for albeit for a lower price. Other than that the stay was really lovely.
