I had trouble sleeping the first night. I was on the 9th floor. Some sort of air conditioning machine kept me up. The staff let me switch rooms. No fuss, no bother. So top marks for customer service. Would stay again but avoid 9th floor if you are a light sleeper.

First time traveling to Sendai and it was a great stay. Check-in and out was easy and smooth! The pillows inside the room was a bit hard, but I asked the staff and got a fluffy one replaced right away! Overall, for one person, a room with all necessities at this price is such a deal.

There was no air conditioner, unfortunately and the bath tub was quite small.

The location was near all the shops, the staff spoke English somehow (enough to help me).

The room was little bit dirty and there didn’t had toothbrush, shaver etc.

Good room although you can tell its age. 7-11 right below and directly next to the main shopping street.

Found a stinky trash bag full of old cans and whatever else somebody had eaten behind the humidifier, house keeping clearly missed that spot. I brought it to the front desk and literally nothing happened. No apology, no compensation. Could have atleast given a free movie pass for the stay or a night. Whatever. Also I found it hilarious that if you bought a movie pass for the TV you have to activate the porn pass at the front desk so your age can be confirmed. I can only imagine the Virgin walk to the front desk.

The room was dirty when I came in. There was a tissue on the floor and hair on the comforter.

The bathroom towel was only suitable for a 5 year old in the army, rough and small. The shampoo seemed to be watered down and not creamy/foamy.

Everything was old and dirty. The wallpaper was falling off, the carpet was dirty and stained, dust everywhere. It feels like the building is being emptied for demolition or maybe a massive renovation. The airconditioner only heated and made me cough. Good luck sleeping with the window open, the noise outside is disturbing throughout the night. The walls between the rooms are not sound proof, you can hear people coughing in adjacent rooms. The breakfast was in a “restaurant” which is straight out of the late 80’s. The old ladies were trying their bests to make something of it, but I just felt sad.
