I like their amenities. The drink bar offers a wide variety of options, including soft drinks, coffee, and soup. They also provide soft-serve ice cream and snacks for kids. Baby essentials are included in their amenities as well—diapers, baby lotion, baby shampoo, baby oil, and bathing supplies. The play area is spacious enough for children to enjoy, and the relaxation area is also wide and comfortable. In addition, the staff are friendly and helpful. Some staff members speak English, so foreign guests should have no trouble checking in. We love this hotel, especially because it’s child-friendly and family-friendly.

The kids play area was amazing and there were so many amenities for kids: all sizes of diapers, baby soap, etc. I think most of the guests we saw had small kids under 5. Then there were all the free snacks, drinks, ice cream, soup bar etc. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our requests. The gyuu-tan for breakfast at Royal Host was surprisingly good too, as was the breakfast buffet. Location was a short walk from Sendai station and there's a nice coffee shop on the second floor of the building next door (open from 7am).

The bed and pillow were very hard—I suspect it is to accommodate families who are used to co-sleeping on a futon. I ended up with a very sore neck and lower back and so did my wife. The elevators get a bit crowded in the morning meaning you can wait quite a while. Also, the breakfast can get crowded later in the morning so its best to go first thing if you can.

Family-oriented hotel with a fun community area and lots of amenities, close to Sendai station and the shopping streets. Staff was very friendly, and even the non English speakers were very attentive and helpful. We liked that the room was more spacious and the gym allows for more variable training than in other hotels, plus the bed was very comfortable.

Considering the price, we found some of the amenities rather cheap, esp. the free coffee and the 'welcome drink', which was a highball or lemon sour pre-mixed drink from a massive plastic bottle poured in cups. Sometimes less is more, and this gave us a hostel impression that didn't fit the overall experience.

The location of the hotel from the station was within a 10-minute walk, slightly away from the hustle and bustle Sendai station. The greatest surprise for us was that we had a fairly big room which could well accommodate for 3 adults, 2 large beds plus sufficient space for moving and suitcases. Everything was clean and neat. The lounge area was wonderful and comfortable. The drinks and snacks were excellent for families with kids. The staff we met were very helpful. This hotel would be our choice in Sendai though this was the third time we stayed here.

The property is very new and clean. There are lots of amenities for customers to use, and there are playgrounds for children. There are unlimited soft drinks and soft serve for customers, which was very nice and some snacks. The staff can speak English very fluently, which is very exceptional in Japan, since most of other hotels stuffs cannot communicate in English very well.

The only downside there is that the place was very cold not in the room, but in the common area, the corridor was very cold, but that doesn’t affect the day so overall the place is really good.

The location is excellent. It's just two blocks away from Sendai Station. It is close enough yet not directly facing all the buzz. Because it is newly renovated, so it is very modern and clean. The room is huge in Japanese standard. There is a study table and a coffee table, so it is just right for mine and wife's need. I must mention the freebies corner. There are soft drinks, coffee, tea, soup, ice-cream and a lot of tidbits, and a huge guest lounge where you can rest and chilled before going back to the room. Also must mention is the toiletries corner where you can collect whatever you need. Just spoilt with choices. Another worth mention is the lady traffic controller who direct car parking gave good and clear instructions. Thumbs-up.

LOVED the lounge with all the different amenities! Ice cream, coffee, soup?! And board games! Plus allllll the additional back up items came in handy. They even had diapers stocked ready to go for guests! If you are a family with littles, this is the hotel to stay at! Play area was amazing too. Staff was exceptional, and really catered to our needs. Cribs/bassinets available.

Royal Host restaurant attached to the hotel has a set brunch menu. You couldn't order just one individual meal, and so it's not a typical Royal Host restaurant.

Very good location and facilities including breakfast and providing free ice cream and drinks. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Hotel sfaff provided professional service although language was sometimes a problem.

The washing machines were always fully occupied. Some users came to take out their washed clothes from the machines for a long period of time after the machines had stopped. An effective system should be set up to prevent such situation.

The amenities here exceeded my expectations. They had a bunch of items available to borrow if needed and the children's play area was perfect for our toddler. The snack/drink bar was also great for just relaxing or playing a board game. They even saved an item we left behind in the room. The location itself was also super convenient to Sendai station.

Honestly, everything was great and I would stay here again when I visit Sendai in the future. No complaints 😃

Great hotel especially for families with little children. The children play area is great to entertain the kids, while they also provide snacks and drinks. They also have all the little toiletries amenities that you will need for your trip. The rooms and nice and clean as well, and the staff was very kind. Easy walk to Sendai Station and Amanpan Children’s Museum. Can’t recommend enough!
