Hotel Monte Hermana Sendai is in an excellent location, close to Sendai station and connected directly by the walking platform accessible at level 2 of the station (meaning exit the station at level two and go to your right, pass the AER building, keep stand on the platform and you'll reach the hotel directly at floor 2 where the reception in located). This area also has multiple shipping centers, an arcade street and lots of shops and restaurants and cafes. Room is nice, the hotel has a bath on floor 9th and washing machines and dryers as well. You can also monitor if they are free or busy using the TV on the room, which is pretty cool. Breakfast is buffet style with a nice but not huge selection. Staff is polite as always in Japan.

Good location close to the station with an elevated walkway in between allowing you to walk above the roads without stopping for walking traffic lights. There are a lot of great restaurants within easy walking distance. There was a welcome drink available and daily icecreams outside the sento hot bath. The nearby trainstation allows you to travel easily to locations along the trainline and there are also nearby car rental places to easily travel to destinations not close to the trainline. There is also coffee and juices available for free next to reception. We enjoyed our stay, thankyou!

Close to the station. Comfortable bed. The bathroom amenities were amazing. Everything was okay. Can’t find something to complain about.

Nothing at all. This is just a piece of advice: don’t rely on Google map for the directions to the hotel. Just exit Sendai station through West Exit, take to your right and keep on the overpass walk heading north. You will see the hotel right ahead.

This is a wonderful location in Sendai. A short walk from the JR station, which means fairly direct access from the airport. I has a welcoming feel and free drinks are available through the day. It is some time since my trip, but the abiding memory is one of comfort.

The breakfast we pretty good, but did not do much to cater for western tastes. Not a problem, I still ate there every morning.

Right next to the station! You can enter the hotel building through the 2nd floor walkways attached to the station itself. The location is great, the staff are super friendly and warm. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was also a public bath, which felt nice after a long cold day.

I like that there is coin laundry and can keep luggage storage. It was also convenient from the station to the hotel. What also surprised me is that the TV also showed the waiting time for the coin laundry and busy-ness of the onsen. There was also free tea, coffee and miscellaneous drinks for free in the lobby.

It was a bit dusty

The staff was nice and welcoming. I could check in a bit earlier, since I arrived earlier. It was also very easy to leave my luggage there for hours after my check-out. The room was clean and cozy, the bed was super comfy.

The elevator always stopped at the lobby, no matter where one goes.

Very close to station. All the way walk to hotel on flyover. Hotel reception is on 1st floor, rooms are from 9 to 14th floor. A small onsen on 9th for guest use. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices.

Better direction to the hotel from Sendai station. I did mention this to the front staff and was greeted with glum face. During my check in, not one smile or any other friendly comment. The most unfriendly front staff I have ever met in my 75 years.
