Really close to the station and to the center of the city. Room was of a normal size, bathroom is pretty big for an hotel room. Staff was very friendly, and you can ask for them to bring you back things like water every day or to not come into your room at all on any day (You only need to comply with full cleaning at least once every three nights). Wi-fi connexion was also pretty good!

Standard laundry + drying leaves your clothes still wet. Keep in mind that you'll need to add 100 or 200 yen to have your clothes fully dry.

I loved that you get a welcome drink ticket to exchange for an alcoholic beverage of your choice in the dining area. They also had free soba and drink bar with soft serve ice cream until 10pm! It was a wonderful treat at the end of your long day and set us up for a comfortable sleep that night. We picked up amenities at the front desk which was nice so we grabbed only what we needed for the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We slept really well that night.

Breakfast ok but only a few western options. use of hotel lounge with free drinks was a bonus as was the soba dish free each evening - although the addition of another dish would be welcome!

Very small room at this price point, even for Japan. Long waits for lifts. (only 2). wifi erratic. getting gluten free advice on food options was very difficult.

The hotel is just opposite to Donki & had a nice taiyaki shop next to it, the shopping area also 1 min walking. very convenient location for everything.

the restaurant sitting arrangement, i think most of the people travel for work & stay in that hotel so the sitting arrangement targeted for single person. We should go for late breakfast to avoid the crowd, maybe 830am onward.

Close to JR Sendai station, about a 5 minutes or less walk from the exit door. Check-in process is quick and easy. Room TV has additional programs that usually require payment if used at another hotel.

Nothing I can think of. Room is a little small but you get what you pay for. Would be perfect for business nearby.

Great location 5mins walk from Sendai Station with all the shops and transit Breakfast was amazing - even better than some 5 star hotels I’ve been in Love the free soba at night and the all-day soft serve and tea/coffee!

Rooms looked a tiny bit dated BUT had everything you could ever need

Very convenient to the train station, restaurants, buses, Don Quixote but quiet to sleep. New hotel. Predominantly businessmen but more families and couples on the weekend. I felt very safe as a lone female with kids. Decent breakfast selection, great range of tea, staff keep the breakfast lounge very clean and replenished. Our double queen room was very comfortable.

booking.com said the room was suitable for 2 adults and a 10 year old, but as soon as we opened the door we knew that would be impossible so I was forced to pay for an on the spot upgrade. If I’d known that in front, I could’ve got a better price for a larger room. It was very distressing; the staff were very kind and the larger room very comfortable but I could have done without that after a long day travelling -and the subsequent unexpected hit to my travel budget.

Free soba after 8pm, free welcome drink, free breakfast, free evening welcome drink, unlimited softserve and tea— all the amenities blew me away. Richmond will be my Japan priority hotel choice whenever I return.

Breakfast ends a bit early. Would be nice to check out the. Have breakfast.

Overall, the room spaciousness is a gem, and the location is super nearby to Sendai Stn & surrounding restaurants. For night, guests can get free Soba, hot/cold drink plus a glass of alcohol from the main lobby reception. Hotel complimentary. .

The pillows need time to get used to the types provided.

The only thing is the windows weren’t completely sound proof, there’s a pedestrian crossing right outside and we heard it a little bit which could potentially ruin someone’s sleep(it’s really not that bad unless you’re a VERY light sleeper)
