Great location! Sendai is not the most popular destination, but it should be. This hotel is situated close to a super authentic fish market, which leads into a mall and the main train station. If you like shopping this is heaven! Easily thousands of shops within 10min walking distance. Anime fans, your mall (yes 5 story high mall!) is only 5 min walk away. Pharmacists are across the road and 7elevens only 2min walk each side. There's a Loople bus at the train station, which will take you to all the tourist attractions, museums, shrines and temples. The rooms are spacious, clean and exactly as in the pictures. Spacious bathroom, with a decent shower and space age toilet. Take their breakfast buffet at least once when you stay here, you'll find authentic Japanese breakfast options and western options. The staff have been super helpful when one of us got a massive cold. They showed us where to pharmacist was and what to ask for. Extra pillow or blankets? No problem. Need to stay 3 more nights? No worries! It's raining outside? Here take these umbrellas! Most of the staff speak English or have a translator apparatus to help you out.

I can complain that the mattresses are hard, but that's how the Japanese like their mattresses. A couple of blankets under the bottom sheets did the trick for me.

The hotel was a short walk from the eki/station (and the directions on the website were very helpful!). Check-in went very smoothly on the machines, and a front desk attendant helped us buy breakfast tickets for the next morning (note: the staff was very friendly and helpful, despite our rusty Japanese). The front lobby amenities were great (esp. the lotions!), and the room was perfect (clean, spacious, with a small desk to put items). Coin laundry was available onsite, although the status of one of the three machines didn't match what was shown on the in-room tv infochannel. The breakfast here was very solid and allowed us to sample a lot of the local Sendai specialties (e.g. zunda mochi, gyutan curry). Would definitely stay here and buy breakfast here again!

Sotetsu Fresa is one of my favorite Hotel Chains in Japan, is a great business hotel. This one is really close to the Downtown and Senda Station, and near the place I needed to work. So it was really helpful. The Asaichi market and a couple of mall are pretty close and several dinning options can be found around.

The only thing I didn't live was the price, it was slightly higher since there was an event during those days. But it's not the hotel's fault. ooh more stuff, since the market is near the hotel, it could be crowded around there during some hours. For me it wasn't a problem, but some people may care about this.

The location is great, the rooms are nice and clean and comfortable, the staff is very nice and helpful, and there's a lot of free things if you need (like toothbrush, toothpaste, q-tip, razor, lotion, bath salts atc.). The breakfast buffet is also good, easily worth the money, in my opinion. They have self-check out and check in, very quick and easy to use, and it was very practical that you can store your baggage/luggage at the hotel on the days where you check in or out, before you get a room or after you checked out. Oh, and the bathtub is short but tall, and you have enough hot water to take a really hot, nice bath. Loved that after a day walking all around the city.

The room was a little small, even though it was very comfortable, and check out at 11 was a little early. Also kind of missed a resturant at the hotel, for dinner.

We really liked the Sotetsu Fresa Inn in Sendai, staff was friendly and the location is good. We backpacked about a month through Japan, and afterwards I can say that the best and most memorable hotel breakfasts were eaten at this hotel. They have a good Japanese (and also Western) style breakfast with variations in dishes in between days, the view from the restaurant on the street is also awesome as you can just watch people as they pass to work.

Certain English-speaking tourists in the restaurant were a bit noisy, but this is a minor thing.

Great location next to Sendai station and the "Asaichi" outdoor food market. I thought the room was well laid out and well lit to do a bit of work as well as rest. The breakfast was fairly varied with Japanese regional food and bread and French toast. I found the bed firm but comfortable as a side sleeper. The pillow was great and I slept well.

The rooms was a little dusty in places so a bit more care in cleaning would be appreciated. Also the cleaners entered my room twice despite a do not disturb sign on the day of checkout. Checkout is 11 so they really shouldn't be coming into the room until I'm out of the hotel.

Great location, right next to the market that had a lot of fruits, vegetables and groceries with restaurants that locals visit. Close enough to the Sendai station to take the airport Access Line, around 8-min walk. Amenities came in a good variety, from hair wax to bubble bath, bath salt, lotion and body cream, face masks also, free to take before getting into the room. Luggage storage area was easy to use, self-service or have the friendly staff help you. 2-3 parking spots to drop off your luggage if you were driving. Room was clean, new, well-designed with usb-ports and TV facing the bed, excellent lighting.

Personally when I plan to travel in Japan, for any prefecture or region, usually I will search for this hotel name first as I preferred the connecting-room and not much to choose for this type of room available in Booking.com (first time I know this hotel was from Nagoya city). The price was reasonable for room quality services, even though the location was a bit far and inconvenient for anyone who traveling by public transport but if traveling by rented car, it would be great as there was a temporary parking in front of the hotel (only for picking-up or sending-off, 15 mins tops).

Breakfast is tasty and the variety is great for a business hotel. Staff is the best, always greeting with smiles. Location is good, close to everything. The hotel is supposed to be smoking free but when I entered the room, the toilet room smells like an ash tray. After complaining to the front desk, they changed my room right away. Someone must have smoked in the toilet room despite of the non smoking rule.

The room is really small with two twin beds. I understand most Japanese rooms are small, but I think the layout can be rearranged to make it more comfortable. The night stand between two beds is not necessary because the headboard has ample space for phone,glasses…. If you move the night stand away, eliminate the space between two beds, it will make more useful space. However, for the price, I think the room size is acceptable.

The location was ideal as it is really walking distance from the train/metro station . The hotel was very clean, the amenities were great and the staff were very helpful. Check-in and out was easy. There were amenities available and a range of tea's to choose from. Being close to shopping malls etc . within walking distance makes it really a hotel that exceeds expectations and would easily stay here again if I was visiting Sendai.

There is nothing negative that I can say here. Was really happy on all fronts.
