Check in was easy, our room was clean and comfortable and there were many toiletries available to choose from. The location is ideal for walking to the station ( less than 5 minutes ) and an easy walk to the shopping malls and restaurants. There is a 7 eleven across the street and I highly recommend the tourist information centre at the train station. The hotel are able to hold your bags if you arrive early which was a big help for us. Choose a moderate double room on the higher level for city views.

Location was good and room was comfortable and clean. It was near to Sendai Station and within walking distance of the shopping areas as well.

There was an option to not clean the room so the staff left a pack of extra/replacement supplies (eg towels) outside the door. This was good but I didn't get to use them as I was out. The next day when the room was cleaned, there was yet another pack of supplies so I had 2 extra packs. This was confusing. Can there be an option to leave unneeded packs outside the door? I don't want this to cause more work and waste.

BREAKFAST BUFFET: Perhaps this was the best part of my stay. The buffet was really great considering the price that I paid. There were plenty of choices - a salad section, bread section, and the mains. It was definitely worth it. (I wasn't able to take photos of all the available food choices.) PRICE: Given the location and the day that I booked, I would definitely say that it is one of the best hotel rates I've found. LOCATION: The hotel is within walking distance from Sendai Station (Hotel Metropolitan side). The hotel is in a quiet area but very close to convenience stores, a subway station, restaurants, Starbucks, and so on. ROOM: The room was just right for one person. I think the room would also be comfortable for two people. MATTRESS: The bed was quite firm. It's perfect for me because I like this kind of bed. ROOM AMENITIES: In addition to the usual amenities, I liked it that there were power outlets at the bed headboard. STAFF: The staff at the reception when I checked in was very helpful. They were friendly and smiled a lot. Check in was smooth. So was the check out. OTHERS: There are vending machines on the ground floor. The lobby is quite spacious and has a nice cozy feel.

It's not a complaint but if you didn't book your room with the breakfast option and you decided you'd like to have the breakfast buffet, buy the ticket the day before because the rate increases if you buy it on the day itself. I misread the information (written in Japanese).

I enjoyed this hotel very much. Close to the station but on a quieter street and right next to convenience stores. They also let you store your luggage after check out if you have a late train or flight.

The bath tub was not sealed to the wall, so I was worried about the cleanliness of it all.

Everything is nearby. The station, a convenience store, the big long strip mall. It's very convenient. Rooms are clean and on the smaller side. Don't forget about the amenities on the first floor in front of the elevator.

The bed was a bit smaller than expected but other than that nothing was wrong. Keep in mind that if you stay for more than 4 nights in a row then room cleaning is only every 3 days instead of every day.

Hotel was reasonably near to Sendai Station (about 7-8mins walk) but quiet as it was on a small street. 7/11 nearby. It was easy to locate (big vertical signboard made it especially easy at night) and the lobby was very warm and welcoming. Staff was prompt and helpful - my room was good, it felt a little more spacious too. Room was very clean

Pillows and mattress were a bit hard but the bedding itself was clean and comfortable. No closet but enough hangers so it was okay for 1-2 night stay. Shoe horn and brush were very useful!

The property is only about 5-10 min walk away from the main Sendai Station that has all of Sendai's metro, trains and the Shinkansen converging. Another bonus is that the property is just behind Sendai's famous morning market that operates late into the afternoon. Also, at the lobby lift area, are 2 racks of amenities for hotel guests, free instant coffee, tea bags, moisturizing lotion, shaving cream, and more ...

The surrounding buildings all look pretty similar, For the 2 days I was there, I always ended up on the opposite side of the street, but nothing too worrying, always look across the street for me.

I've stayed in another Koko Hotel before so I knew what to expect. It's a good hotel chain. This hotel is conveniently located close to Sendai Station. My room was comfortable, the amenities on offer were good and the staff were very helpful.

Nothing to dislike really. My view wasn't the best but it wasn't a problem.

We're so satisfied with this stay! It exceeded our expectations in relation to value for money. We got the queen sized bed and were given a corner room. The staff was very polite and spoke a little english. The room was big enough for two people to move around in comfortably. There were a lot of amenities and free items offered such as bath products (fragrance for your bath water, shampoo, conditioner, a few body soaps), facial cleanser, lotion, small towels etc. The bathtub was bigger then usual.

The carpeting in the corridors were stained on our floor (2nd). There were cleaning supplies and a bag of rags left out in the 2nd floor corridor long after check in times had started. They were still there the morning after.

The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station and close to many shopping areas. The breakfast buffet offers both Japanese and Western options. The Japanese breakfast includes rice, miso soup, and a selection of proteins such as salmon, mackerel, and chicken.
