The location on the beach is perfect. Walking distance from the Shirahama station bus stop therefore it is very easy to get there with luggage. Both Onsens were lovely especially the upstream Onsen with beach views. The only downside is I found a bugs in my bathroom so I think they need to lay insecticide, however cleaners came every day. Since the bug immediately ran into the bathroom drain I'm going to assume they're in the pipes. I told the front desk via Google translate and I hope it translated the message properly. Otherwise Shirahama beach is beautiful and relaxing

The Japanese room is very cozy, Japanese Futon Bed is very comfortable for good sleep. We love the enjoyed half board meals provided by hotel restaurant, staffs are very friendly and helpful, the white beach and playgrounds just In front of the hotel, Hotel provides variety of free drinks for guests from morning to afternoon, the open air Onsen in second floor has sea view.

The swimming pool is closed and only open July 1st, parking lots in front of the hotel is limited

The meals were amazing and the service exceptional, particularly in the restaurant. The view of the beach was great, except that it was winter so we were unable to go swimming. Maybe next time!

As a resident of Japan, I wanted to use the government-sponsored discounts (zenkoku ryoko shien). Unfortunately, I had not ticked the appropriate box on my online reservation and the front desk refused to allow me to take advantage of this program when I checked in.

Beautiful beachside location, lovely traditional ryokan (futons & tatamis), open air onsen and delicious, beautifully presented food. A very gracious traditional Japanese inn.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. It offered stunning sea views that made my stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was truly a treat. Additionally, the food at the hotel was exceptional. The meals were delicious and very full, which left me feeling satisfied after every meal. I was impressed by the variety of dishes available and the quality of the ingredients used. The hotel was situated near many sites, which made it easy for me to explore the area. I had access to many attractions and activities that were only a short walk or drive away. This made my stay very convenient and enjoyable. Finally, the hotel had a bus stop right in front of it, which was incredibly convenient for me. I was able to easily travel to other parts of the city without any hassle. This made it easy for me to explore the area and take in all the sights and sounds. Overall, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. The combination of the stunning location, delicious food, nearby attractions, and convenient transportation options made it an excellent choice for my trip. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.

While my stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall, there were a few minor drawbacks that I should mention. Firstly, I had booked a room that was supposed to be on a high-level floor, but upon arrival, I was given a room on the lowest floor. This was a bit disappointing, as I had hoped for a better view. Part of the sea view from my room was blocked, which was a bit of a letdown. I had expected an unobstructed view of the sea, but unfortunately, this was not the case.

The beach is right outside the hotel and the view from room and one of the hot springs is magnificent. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel so you can go everywhere easily.

The design of the lobby and some parts of the hotel is a bit outdated.

An old hotel but all facilities are very nice and clean. I got the Japanese-Style Superior Room which is quite spacious. Excellent location with easy commute to all the attractions. The front desk was super friendly and helpful! I left my wallet on the bus and they managed to get it back for me within an hour.

Location is excellent. We can enjoy sunset during onsen n also can go straight to the beach from the hotel. Also there is lights on tree outside the hotel(on the beach), good for guest to enjoy the beautiful night scene.

Facilities for onsen may still have room for improvement.

The location is wonderful. It is relaxing to hear the waves at night and stroll on the beach in the daytime. The food is also delicious and well-served., and the onsen baths are superior to anything we've seen.

Nothing about the hotel itself.

This property is ocean front, which was ideal for the kids to go out to play at the beach. Also it was great to have a private onsen to share with the family. The room has plenty of space for a family of four, with living, two rooms and bathrooms.

Not meaning places to eat with the family (two young kids) around, but we did go off the peak season, maybe it changes during summer.
