Excellent location and cost was absolutely unbeatable. All of the basic amenities were provided and they checked me in right away, even though I arrived a few hours before the listed check in. I did not interact with the staff much but everyone was very kind! Bed was firmer than I'm used to, but very comfortable. Replacement towels were left outside my door my second morning, too.

The hotel could use some updates. The two free outlets in my room were in bizarre locations, so it was hard to charge my devices (one was located on the ceiling, of all places). The bathroom had slight mold. The shower curtain was a little too small and the ends curled in, so water splashed all over the floor each time I took a shower. Nothing was a dealbreaker, but it's worth noting before you book.

The staff are amazing and always willing to help. Very friendly and very excellent customer service 👏 👌 👍. They made us feel at home.

Location is great. Abt 15 min walk from Tokushima st, 5min walk to Bizan ropeway, and 5min to the nearest convenient store. Hotel staff are all very nice. Super friendly and ready to help.

Yes, it's an very old hotel, so don't expect a spotless clean room. If you're just staying for the night, it will do the job. However the elderly uncles from the reception will try to accommodate and help you out in a very welcoming way.

The only bathroom amenity provided was a toothbrush. The room - although clean ad tidy - was somewhat dilapidated . I couldn't get the air-con to work nor open the window.

Very good value for money on the busy marathon weekend. 2 nights for 10,000 yen. No breakfast but a convenience store not too far away - small fridge in room.

Older shabby property but that’s why it’s so reasonable.

- The staff was very cheerful both at check-in & check-out - The hotel has pictures of guests decorating the walls and pictures of monuments in different countries, gives it a personal touch, which I liked! - It was very quiet - It had everything you need for your stay - The window opened, which for me is definetely a plus in Japan!

- It could have been cleaner (dust on the corners/edges of carpet, some stains here and there, some hairs in the bathroom, etc.) - I didn't mind it too much, because I didn't spend much time in the room, but the window faced a really close wall - maybe hotels should make this clear in the description...
