the location very strategic, the room comfort with heater, the bathroom also great with hot water, very helpful in the cold weather. The breakfast quite good in quality and quantity of the food. No worries about toiletries, every day refill with new stock. The TV channel also great, we can spend time watching news and video. Wifi Connection going smooth and fast

size of the room so small, very hard to enjoy the room if you had big suitcase. Especially when two person in the room. The staf need more training with english languange. There are no smoking area.

Excellent location near Shimbashi station and several other local lines. Very close to restaurants, bars and shops. Shortish walk to Tokyo Tower. The area and this hotel seem to be mostly used by businessmen so not overrun with tourists.

Be prepared that the rooms are tight, which we should have expected for a hotel of this type and price point. We made it work as we try to travel light. If you have more luggage, there is bag storage in the lobby. English is not as prominent with the desk staff but they were friendly as patient and made it work. They even helped me ship a bag to our next hotel. We also had event tickets and a wifi hotspot delivered to the hotel before we arrived. Super easy.

The room was clean and comfortable, and all the outlets, appliances, fixtures, etc. worked! I appreciated the 24-hour check-in and accommodating staff. I appreciated that there were extra toothbrushes and hair ties and hair clips etc. provided in case I had forgotten mine.

Half way through my stay, two of the provided pillows were removed from the room, as well as one of the towels, and were never returned. Also, the fridge was turned off while I was away, even though I had food in it. My room also got quite warm during the day with the direct sunlight.

This hotel is the exact definition of the typical Japanese business hotel, so if you have stay in one, you know what to expect. The space is reduced, price is normally cheap and staff is nice. APA Shimbashi is an excellent option when going to work around Shimbashi or Toranomon, or if you're traveling it's located near Ginza, Shimbashi and Tsukiji. Walkable distances to JR lines, subway and the monorail.

This time the carpet below the bed was really dusty and a vacuum cleaner would be good. Other than that my stay was good and I don't have any complains. Note: If you're traveling with huge number of family members and/or big luggage, you will struggle with the space and it won't be possible to get a room for more than 2 people.

Good location for my business meeting in the Shimbashi/Toranomon area. Walking distance to several train lines and direct connection to both Narita and Haneda airports with the Sky Access service.

The centrally controlled air conditioning was a mixed bag; on my first night it was a good temperature for sleeping. The second night it was too warm. It also channels noise from the outside and I could hear vehicles and construction activity.

The place is located at Toranomon, close to 2 metro lines and Shinbashi station. Wasn't exactly cheap, but for the APA hotel it was a good deal.

There was no foreign currency exchange at the lobby, although many APA usually have it. Also breakfasts, albeit delicious, were rather simple, without any variety or desserts. Also the rooms are quite small, comfy, but small nonetheless.

The bed was nice and the room and bathroom was clean. Lots of restaurants, shops and tourist attactions around, and very easy access to trains etc.

Great location in a very lively district, just a minute walk from cafes and restaurants, yet rooms are quiet. Close to the metro and JR, super easy to get anywhere. The view from the window was beautiful too. Beds were very good.

The room we had was very small, with almost no space left to walk after we placed our suitcase there, but it was alright in the end, since we spent very little time inside.

At a good location and the breakfast was awesome, especially the energizing Miso soup as a starter. And the rest...

Well, the room is small - it's really small from a European standpoint. At the end it served the needs - as it was clean and I could arrange things in the proper way. Was good to handle the space better.

Great location, close to Shimbashi station which gives you access to all of Tokyo via the Ginza line. Vending machines, microwave, everything you need. The option of extending checkout for an additional 1000 yen (up until 1PM) is also great.

APA rooms are always small, but you understand that going in.
