The amenities are AMAZING. The onsen is stunning, you stare out at a zen garden with a water wall, it’s big and so amazing. There’s also a cold bath and sauna. The free ramen at 9.30pm is 10/10 and free hot and cold drinks (soft drinks/juices/etc) in that area too. One of the cutest places ever. I loved it.

Appeared small but as we settled in, the rooms are well appointed, enough room and efficient.

• best amenities: we opted for including breakfast which was perfect. Japanese breakfast is the best. • onsen: didn’t use because it was always busy but it was very clean, well maintained. • popsicles/yakult/ramen: great waking up and having a yakult each day, coming back from a long day of sightseeing to popsicles and ramen that was simple but delicious each night. • pjs/ slippers: I found the pjs to be too hot but I love having the slippers to use. • room amenities: comb, toothbrush, razor, comb. Great included items in case you forgot something! • Welcome snack and water: so nice to come in and have just a little something to help you settle in.

Amazing breakfast and centrally located within Ginza. The onsen facilities are a special treat after a long day exploring Tokyo as is the free unlimited ice cream and the late night ramen. Super clean facilities and the dining room is a nice place to converge in the evening if you’re here with family and friends.

Nothing - our new favorite stay in Tokyo!

This is by far my favorite hotel during my stay in Tokyo. It's relatively new so everything is clean and shiny, the room is really comfortable with a small partition. They offer a hot spring bath directly in the hotel, and free popsicles/yogurt drink. The free soba ramen that they offer in the late evening is really delicious. Overall a hidden gem in the busy district of Ginza and I hope I will visit again soon.

The lobby can be a bit small if there are many guests awaiting service. Also there is construction work going on right next to the hotel (not the hotel's fault, and they do make it clear on booking's webpage), but just something to be cautious of if you're a light sleeper. Oh and their replies to booking.com's messages were a bit slow...

A beautiful boutique feeling hotel in a quiet location in Ginza. The rooms are simple but the onsen is really beautiful. They have black water, which I failed to ask what sort of mineral content is in it but it left my skin soft, and it was much needed after my 14 hour flight. The staff are there to help you in all ways. They let me check in a half hour early, (though I arrived at 8:30am and wished I could've used the onsen right away). They held my bags when I arrive well before check-in time. The location is a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro line. I really liked this area in Tokyo, it's not crazy like Shinjuku. It's quiet, more refined, but easily accessible. It is also close to the tsukiji fish market.

This was our second favorite hotel during our 4 weeks traveling all over Japan. (Our fave was their sister property Dormy Premium in Kyoto.) We were enchanted for 5 nights. Excellent facilities and super clean. Sensational breakfast buffet. Outstanding, clean and beautiful onsen with luxurious hot soaking bath and sauna and many cleansing cubicles. Spacious room (for Tokyo) and well appointed. Very quiet. The cheerful staff wear traditional yukatas and were super helpful. The laundry facilities are really useful. Location is great near the subway station and many restaurants. Evening ramen was popular. We loved the free matcha latte and tea and coffee machine in the dining room. Highly recommended!

Nothing. A perfect stay!

To me, once you’ve stayed at a Dormy Inn hotel, you crave for some more. It’s mainly because everything was wonderful—the room (bigger and neater than I expected, and of course super clean), the breakfast (highly recommended—I give it an A+—will explain more later), and the location (in Ginza, not far from the big department stores like Mitsukoshi, Ginza 6, and the Ginza subway station is about an 8 minute walk (a fair walk but there’s always something to see in between), very quiet and clean roads and back street alleys, and a Family Mart right across the hotel). I must mention the superb onsen on the B1 floor (one fairly large hot pool, a nice sauna, and a little cold tub fit for one person, plus several individual bathing areas), AND the glorious breakfast (probably the best of the 4 hotels I was at in the 15-day trip of Japan—a solid A+ from me!! Ample food, a variety of delicious and healthy Japanese dishes, and always readily served when it’s almost gone).

Can’t think of anything except the location to Ginza Station, which can be ‘far’ for some people but for me it was all right.

Breakfast - very good: value for money, traditional Japanese style, buffet breakfast (50min, but did not see it enforced, but could be during busier periods) Onsen facilities - free Onsen in the middle of the city, available for most of the day/night - Fantastic after a day out in Tokyo. There is also a sauna and cold bath to use too. Ice-cream available in the entry/exit area is very welcome after a visit there. Staff - as expected, helpful and skilled in multiple languages. Check-in during middle of the night was quick and smooth. Convenience store - directly across the street, useful for anything you need.

The location is very walkable to the Ginza and Tsukiji Market. (We are both almost 70 years of age.) A convenience store is across the street from the hotel. We liked the wash basin and vanity area. The housekeeping staff were helpful and polite.

The room was a little too small for us. The air/heat for the room was a little difficult to navigate with no English instructions. I didn’t realize that I had signed up for a room with no cleaning. And I didn’t read the fine print (until later) that I could have had the room cleaned for a nominal extra fee. English for the check in staff was not good so I didn’t know we had that option. I wish the front desk person had informed us.

Staff was kind and welcoming. The onsen (public bath) was the best part of the hotel! Lots of amenities including shampoo, conditioner, lotions, hair ties, sandals Room comes with sleeping attire. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great! Worth the little extra for the meal. Great location in Ginza.

Room was very small. I booked a double room for 3 of us (2 adults and a 12 year old child) and it was just a double bed. The couch was too small for my son to sleep on, so all 3 of us were in a double bed. If we were to stay here again, we'd book a bigger room.
