Their breakfast has quite good variety although they call it"Simple breakfast". There are always free drinks and clean/care products for guests in the lobby. Room is not small according to Tokyo standard. Shower is spacious. Very quiet and nice neighborhood to walk around, too.

The last night during our stay, the central air conditioning had a bit of food smell, maybe from the restaurant on the first floor. But it was not too strong, after a while it was ok again, or maybe later we just got used to it.

Excellent location in Ebisu on a great street. 5 mins walk to Ebisu station. 10 mins walk to Daikanyama. Lots of shopping and restaurants very close by. Room was great - had all we needed, comfortable bed, nice big bath. Very clean. Penthouse room with balcony has views of Fuji on a clear day, as well as whole city and Tokyo tower.

in the penthouse - it badly needs black out curtains!!! Those terrible blinds don’t close properly and don’t stop the light coming in. I’d expect more for the price. Bring an eye-mask if you’re booking it or be woken very early 😣

One train stop away from Shibuya which for me was perfect. It was lovely to get away from all the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and come back to Ebisu where people actually live. There was always a very simple breakfast! Eggs most days and sausage. Or a salad. The staff was very friendly, polite, helpful. (Spoke very good English!) Wi-Fi was good. Bathtub was heavenly! Always hot water. Asked for two double beds. There were two beds pushed together so it made (if you needed it) a king size bed. Elevator excellent. They supply soaking bath salts for baths. The supermarket was two or three blocks away. So I could stock up on water and snacks. Starbucks was about 6 blocks away, right at the entrance of the train station. I went there every day!!!!

I liked the property! When you get out of the Uber, it’s easy to take the elevator up to where their reception area is or up to your room.

Breakfast was very good, it is in an excellent location, a short walk to Ebisu station, there are some great bars and restaurants within walking distance. The room is very modern. The facilities are good, and all the little extras really add up to make your stay enjoyable... there are even complimentary face masks (pampering) in the lobby. Staff were able to help us book local restaurants etc.

When requesting a twin room, it was surprising to find the two beds still next to each other, so we had to move them apart. The automatic lifting toilet seat took a little getting used to.

Ebisu is a fantastic neighbourhood - plenty of great places to eat and drink, easy access to public transport, but not loud and overwhelming. Ebisuholic is a thoughtfully designed, comfortable and visually pleasing place to stay. We loved having a bath, we loved the layout of the room and its thoughtful touches, and we loved the view. Breakfast was great, with enjoyable and interesting dishes. We would highly recommend this hotel to friends and would love to stay again.

We loved the location of this hotel in Ebisu; it was close to everything we wanted to do and visit but felt very local and away from the tourist crowds. The room was comfortable for our 4 night stay. As anticipated, the bed and room area was on the cosier side but the bathroom with bath and shower was very generous. The hotel also provided a table in the lobby filled with every ammenity you could ever need during your stay and we liked the portions of bath salts available. Our room was extremely quiet and felt very private. The housekeeping came every day and the way they made up the room made us feel like we were getting a fresh room every day. This detail was much appreciated. Reading the other reviews, we were a little apprehensive of our upcoming stay but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again in the future.

The lobby didn't have much of a welcoming vibe and although the staff were nice enough when checking in, they didn't make any other interactions during our stay. They felt a little unfriendly. This hospitality was very different to all the other places we have staying throughout Japan.

Amazing location. Staff were nice and breakfast was better than I expected.

Our room smelled like the smoke exhaust from the teppenyaki restaurant downstairs. It smelled strongly of meat and we could see smoke under the pot lights. If it wasn't for the fact that the restaurant was closed for nye and the days after, it'd have been a very uncomfortable stay with smoke in our rooms. Feels a bit unsafe and should be checked.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It's located on a quiet street in the middle of Ebisu, which was a cute, local neigborhood with lots of great bar and restaurant options. It's a quick walk to Daikanyama (hipster, high end area) and has great subway lines that take you all over the city (Shibuya is just one stop on the subway). My husband and I got a room with two twin beds. The sink was located in the main room and there was a tiny bathroom for the toilet and a separate area for the shower. The rooms are a tight squeeze and we didn't have much space for our luggage on the ground but we would still stay at this hotel again and again because it was located in such a great area, it was clean/modern, and we spent most time outside of the hotel anway.

The size of the room is tight for two people with luggage.

The room was clean and recently updated. It is in easy waling distance to Ebisu station (but up a hill so be ready to excersize) and was very quiet. It was a little strange having a window into the bathroom but was easy to pull down blinds for privacy. There were lots of free items in the lobby such as toiletries and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Ebisu was a great neighbourhood to stay in and the hotel was easy distance to lovely bars and restaurants.

I wouldn't say there was anything bad about the hotel.

Great location, we loved the neighbourhood- full of top restaurants and boutiques but still less hectic than Shibuya central. Great value for money and breakfast is light but totally sufficient.

There’s some smell of steak at the hotel coming up from the restaurant below however the staff helped me minimise it in my room and it did disappear the day after.
