A surprisingly peaceful hotel a mere 2-3 min walk from the Shibuya Jr station. Extremely convenient for JR yamanote and the Narita Express, since you just cross the street to Sakura stage and you're there. Much quieter streets at night but still has an abundance of nice restaurants and convis nearby, much more enjoyable than north shibuya if you're not an extreme city person!

Since it's located in the southwest Sakuragaokacho quarter of the Shibuya station, navigating here can be a little tricky compared to the Hikarie and Scramble sides. That's great for avoiding the noise at night that plagues the North but is a little tough to find the first time (especially with the secret looking wooden wall door!) The New South Exit from Shibuya station has an exit that leads to the Sakura stage, which is right across the street from Granbell. You can also get there from South exit by going Stream then taking a bridge at the google office entrance to sakura stage.

TIP: FROM SHIBUYA STATION - EXIT AT HACHIKO EXIT THEN NAVIGATE FROM THERE - it was super confusing trying to get to the hotel when we were still inside the station. There are really mixed reviews About this place depending on the room you stay in. Our room was in the annex side and it was absolutely no frills, just basics which was all we needed. It was an older room so it could do with a bathroom redo but if you’re only here for a few days don’t get too bothered by the reviews - the location is so good and easy to navigate, for the price you’re paying in Shibuya it’s worth it!

The location of the hotel is perfectly surrounded with Lawson, 7 Eleven and Family Mart. It is very close to the Shibuya Station JR Line. From the Shibuya Station you can easily go wherever you want. Shinjuku, Ueno, Asakusa, Akihabara and many more places. You have to get out of the New South Gate to get infront of the Hotel. The Staff was always smiling and ready to help with any questions. The English level was very good so we didn't had any problems to ask some questions.

The Elevator's doors a closing too fast so that we had to jump in to get in the elevator fast. Rooms are a little small but it was enough for us. 2 Adults and 1 Child.

Our first time visiting Tokyo, we found the hotel location fantastic. Tucked away in a quiet street behind the Shibuya train station and all the city chaos, we felt very well connected to everything we needed yet it was nice and quiet whenever we went home each day. A short walk to bus stations also which was very helpful as we used these for a day trip and transport to Haneda airport. The hotel is small and comfortable, the rooms were an ok size. The bathrooms were really spacious (a pleasant surprise). We stayed in 2 other hotels during our stay and this place had the biggest bathroom areas by far. The shower, toilet and vanity were all separate which made logistics easy. Fantastic restaurants, bakeries and convenience stores within walking distance. Staff very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again, but hope they upgrade the beds.

The beds weren't the comfiest, could do with an upgrade. Walls a little thin, could hear neighbours coming/going late at night, early morn which disrupted our sleep a bit. We had no trouble but access could be an issue as the hotel is situated on a street with a steep incline, just a warning.

Hotel was great. It is closely situated to transportation and many Tokyo highlights. You are close to the excitement without being overwhelmed or right in the centre. Everywhere we wanted to visit was a short walk or train ride and we could easily access dining, shopping and entertainment. The rooms were small but bigger than we had expected in Tokyo. We could fit two people per room as well as 3 large suitcases etc. Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable here during our stay.

We had no complaints!

I enjoyed my room, even though it was tiny, it was very comfortable. loved the bed. great bathroom, shower had excellent pressure. loved the option of opening a window. Lovely fresh towels each day. Really helpful staff. loved the funky glass bathroom.

Location was noisy.. not really the fault of the hotel, there was a building construction opposite. Lobby and lift was a bit scuffed there and there but on the whole it didn’t bother me that much.

We decided to save money by purchasing one of the more cheaper hotel rooms in Shibuya and honestly, It met my expectations. The receptionists are lovely, the facilities are good, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The location is quite for the area but also within easy walking distance to the Shibuya Scramble and all the shopping.

The only thing that I disliked was the red lightening for the rooms.

Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. Location was ideal! It was very affordable. Having a fridge in the room was very helpful. The water pressure was ridiculously awesome, and it stayed very hot.

It was nearly perfect (and my only complaint might be a little over critical) but the room felt a little dingy. I'm not saying it was dirty, I think it might just be from age/wear. You could argue it gives it more character, and maybe I'm just used to hotels that have that overly sterile vibe. I would still absolutely stay there again.

The location couldn't be any better - it's across the street from the Shibuya station, so getting anywhere in town was just a quick walk over the escalator. I regularly walked the neighborhood in the early mornings due to jetlag and was completely safe the entire time. Nearby 7-11s were my best friend, though I did enjoy the free espresso in the lobby before heading out. The rooms are small compared to those in the USA but normal for the area. Booking required that we have 2 rooms for our family of 4 (normally in the USA we would get 1 room and kids would sleep on the ground, but there was not a lot of ground). The rooms were clean, cleaned regularly, and met our needs. There were 2 elevators that were fast. There was no breakfast - Americans in the hotel picked up food at 7-11.

Wonderful location close to the station and sights such as Shibuya Sky, Scramble Square and the Hachiko Statue, at first it was a bit difficult to find due to construction in the area. I was not very happy with the size of my room at first but the staff was very helpful in finding a suitable room for me and the fee for it was not too bad.

Not being able to open a window was about the only thing.
